I actually haven't even seen The Gambler, but I do enjoy this scene.
heck You money is something that would have been nice to learn about as a kid really.

Prefer the Golf Course scene myself. :)

My favourite scenes are all in The Good, the Bad & The Ugly.

Firstly, the scene where Tuco is running around the cemetery looking for the grave, the music makes this a classic. Then the final duel between Blondie, Angel Eyes and Tuco (again the music just adds so much to scene) and then the final scene where Blondie leaves Tuco hanging by his neck, he then rides off with his share of the gold and disappears leaving Tuco to struggle while trying to keep his balance on a flimsy grave marker. Then Blondie reappears and shoots the rope and Tuco falls face first onto his share of the gold coins.

The final 20-25 minutes is the greatest ending in cinema history.

The story I read was that John Travolta spent 9 months perfecting this and they were going to cut it from the final film.

Crazy.
