Most dramatic and or saddest cinematic/TV deaths.

Spoiler tags here because it's a bit newer and less obvious than some other ones.

Nacho Varga in Better Call Saul was pretty sad. You kind of knew it was gonna happen due to his non-appearance in Breaking Bad, but I was still kind of rooting for him that he'd get out clean rather than end up dead.

Also from Better Call Saul, I thought Howard's death was pretty sad. He didn't deserve that.

Jesse's girlfriend getting murdered by Todd was pretty sad and also pretty nasty. Did not enjoy that moment.
Oh yes the second one you mentioned on BCS…that was a shocker

Most tragic Six Feet Under deaths in the opening scenes:

Off the top of my head:
  • the baby from SIDs is probably the saddest.
  • the gay bashing was a close second. Was just so sickening
  • Gabe's brother finding the hand gun and shooting himself
  • the mass shooting in the office
  • the suicide by the lady in the garage
  • the accidental death of a girl running from what she thought was a gang of rapists but were her mates playing a prank
  • the guy from cancer who Nate helps

The ones that scared the hell outta me/came from nowhere:

  • The father in S1, ep 1
  • The cougar attack

The last scene in Last of the Mohicans where Magua kills the second last of the Mohicans and the sister jumps to her death.

Though it immediately is followed by Maqua's death.
even though I first read the novel way back when I was a kid, that one struck me....
maybe the music added to it.

The funniest being the golfer who has angina, recovers and then hits the golf ball into the random person's head?

Yeah the old lady sitting in her backyard?

Some of the deaths were amusing and unexpected.

Another one was the chain reaction started by a bird shitting on someone.

another oldie that was pretty jarring for its realism

there's another I'm trying to dredge up from the dusty memory files of something similar in that it was totally unexpected execution style to the head, maybe even with a coup-d'grace while on the ground, not a close up to make it even more voyeuristic. Can't recall it though.

Brian's Song choked me up when I was a boy. You really got to know the character. The ending after he passes especially..
