Neale says he can't recall feeling anything to his eye region. He says he grabbed his face afterwards as his nose was sore.

Neale says it all happened pretty quickly, but says his eyes were fine.

Neale says he can't recall where the contact to his nose came from.

Yep, nothing to the eyes, and that was the basis of the charge. He's playing.

Why were his hands there anyway? In that instance, where he can't tackle anywhere EXCEPT for the head, why would he have them there? And does Neale's supposed lack of injury somehow clear Greene of intent?

Neale’s testimony will be also used to argue down the level of impact, ie. get it “less than low” so there isn’t a penalty.

Greene says he jumped on top of Neale in the hope of the umpire paying a holding the ball decision.

Greene says the umpire had not blown his whistle for holding the ball when he glanced at the officiator.

Greene says he saw the footy bobble, which is why he reacted in an attempt to keep the ball locked in.

Greene says he put his left hand towards the ball in an attempt to "snatch the footy", but couldn't get hold of it and subsequently pulled his hand back.

Lol Greene is a lying piece of shit which he proved with his so called apology to Bonts.

I thought infringed players were no longer invited to give evidence because it was generally seen as being a waste of time due to the players code.

The tribunal hearing was even more of a complete farce last week now if Bontempelli could have been requested to appear (he may have stuck to the players code anyway but privately the Bulldogs were said to be fuming at his treatment).

As it is the AFL fixed the result from the beginning in only seeking a fine when a suspension should have been the starting point that could be argued down.
