We are now less than 2 weeks away from Round 1 so plenty of clubs would have had at least 1 hit out I presume. Who's looking good for all the clubs and have played well. Who's not doing so well regarding forms or unfortunate injuries?

I wasn't in attendance but I heard that Nullawil and an undermanned Birchip-Watchem had a hit out on the maroon's home turf on Saturday. I'm not sure if it was scored correctly, but talk from the Nully players was that they had a 5 point win, whereas Birchip players seemed to think the scoreline might have been a bit different. There was also some mention by a few Bulls that the Nully boys might have been making the most of inexperienced boundary umps by playing all the way to the fence instead of the white line!

Brad Todds coaching Wakool.

Was just wondering if anyone on here knows anything about Tony Doran, Has kicked 200+ goals in last 2 years. Just want some feed back on him and whys he's not playing 1s. Have no idea who he is or how old

Cheers fellas:thumbsu:

Tony would be pushing 50 now wouldn't he??? (not real sure but someone will know exactly)

He has been a goal kicking machine for his entire career. His senior days have been over for some time now but I reckon it is great that he still runs around in the 2's and obviously still dominates

Tony is well into his 40's and has been running around in the seconds for a few years now, presumably because he enjoys the lower tempo of the game. Decent guy and very humble. His son Kyle plays in the seniors.

Re: GRFL Part 3

Who is Brad Todd and where is he from? Who else of note have the Hawks picked up? what happened to last years coach Lachlan Gleeson?

Anyone give feedback on the win over Nully?

Todd played there last year, centre half forward/full forward. At a guess 6ft 3. Not sure where from.

Lachlan gleeson is still at wakool.

The players that played on sat but didn't play round one are:
Ricky and daniel wilson and Greg carne.

Don't know, maybe nully are in for a tough year?

quick look at the clearances, think there were 8 people from the northern football league cleared who have played in the senior side plus a few others from closer leagues

Mmmm. Doesnt explain losing by 100 pts one week, then beating last years grand finalist by 5 goals one week later. Something doesn't quite add up!

The Hawks are moving in the right direction that is for sure. Wandella also had a few out. Sammy Taylor and Lachy Bott just to name a couple.

In saying that, I would imagine that they will be pushing for a finals berth. Good luck to 'em.

Should be a couple of close games this week.
My selections for found 4

Wakool over Ultima 10pts
Macorna over Quamby 15pts
Wandella over Moula 70pts
Nully over Hay 75pts
