Sounds like ultima are getting in a d getting out. They must feel like they are a better run club than tyntynder and swan hill. Maybe their right, if they can get kids to play for them, that shores up their future, just means Alan garden might not be used in 5 years time

They should have played a 5 league comp and give ultima the best chance of succeeding in the central murray. The board was weak, why have a board if they can't make tough decisions. All this board does is say its too hard and sits on the fence

I agree Trent, it reeks of a spineless board not willing to make a call that would challenge the status quo and instead relying on maybe another club folding/merging in the meantime and then come to same end result in 12-24 months anyway. But this way they will be able to say "it wasn't our fault." I feel for Ultima as I'm not sure what more they could have done. At what point does AFL Vic do a review of country football clubs/leagues because we are well overdue, especially in the Central and Northern regions
