i cant really see the tigers giving up a player for player swap for grigg when we hold all the cards, we will probably try to effect a minor pick upgrade if any player swap is involved.

agree with the sentiments about not trading players like morton, connors and collins

Im more for trading hislop, mcmahon or polo but carlton and essendon would rather cut their losses and drop players to the PSD than be saddled with these list-clogging spuds

I have it on more than 'good authority' that neither Morton nor Collins will be involved in a deal for Grigg. Yes, I understand that a lot of people come here talking a lot of crap. So if I am taken seriously is up to individual posters.

Honestly guys, why would we trade Morton who clearly has re established himself as a winger as per Hardwick's request and Collins who is another young player being developed?

Carlton supporters are getting desperate and are coming to the realization that they may lose him for nothing in the PSD

It just makes me angry knowing that Grigg has walked out of Carlton, is uncontracted and demanded to go to Richmond. In this case, we should offer a player who is up for trade (Collins was not) or picks after 40...
Houli is worth less than Grigg, so preference would be for Grigg to go in the PSD..
Also, they could both nominate for the draft, put a large $$ on their head and refuse to play for others (Luke Ball) and we pick them with 5th/6th rounders...

Then there is also the point that they are both fringe players and not stars!! Really needed??? hmm.. not sure.

Have scanned all Twitter/Newspaper/Online articles and all I can find is The Australian article and references to it... I'm getting a bit suspicious, would seem strange that the deal is being confirmed by "Greg Denham" at 12am....all other trades have been confirmed during the day or at completion of the day 5-6pm...No quotes from players, managers or clubs either... Will sleep on this and hopefully tomorrow, I will hear that Grigg is coming to Tig's for pick 50...
