No one wants to be in the bench or worse still left out of the side.

Unfortunately not every player is available every week so you need some extras to fill the gaps.

22 still allows for 4 on the bench. more than enough

If a poster gets banned for anything, or say a day-off during the week, they can't play in the game for that round.

Baghdad Bombers were docked premiership points last season for being unable to fill 20 positions with available players.

We had 27 on the list and 3 volunteers offer to help out, still wasn’t enough.

Reckon that is the reason for the expanded squad sizes this season.
