True but a forum thrives on activity and engagement. If match threads are completely dead people lose interest. The rules cater for people dropping off but you don't want to encourage lists full of inactive players.

my idea wasnt to put 44 inactive players into 2 teams.. that would be silly.

but to spread everyone out seems to be the way to go. id be happy with at least 7-10 active opponents every week.

everyone keeps referring to people who are inactive. but its a sim. you dont need to be active.

4 on the bench to account for bans and in game injuries (if any).

22 max list sizes ftw.

Yet here we are … with squad sizes of up to 30.

The question is why do we need such large squads?

I actually think the sweet spot is around 25 for list size. 30 is just too many.
