Autopsy GWS beat North - game over at half time

I can understand people feel that way, but Ziebull doesn't chase because he is lazy or doesn't want to, he just hasn't got the tank so all you would achieve is to embarrass the captain. The question is, why retain players who can't play the modern game and that is a club issue. We hid his lack of tank by playing him down back and he did an okay job last year.

I made a post somewhere else showing the last two years of B&Fs and the vast majority of them are injured, no longer with us or being played out of the position they won the B&F and it impacted their form afterwards. To some degree, some of this pain has been self-inflicted with moving players around.
I cAn see your point.

Just watching “last crack” on Fox footy. The seem to thing a big problem was being “half pregnant”. I.e Some guys are playing man on man while others play zone…. A complete mess 🫣

I know it’s irrelevant and will be forgotten tomorrow but it still needs to be noted the dickheads seated next to the GWS cheer squad made a mockery out of our club today.
duck the Giants they are a shambles themselves, but for us to have the piss taken out of us like that - that shit would never have stood in the 90s
What was happening? I wasn't seated too far away from their cheer squad and they made a bit of noise at first but from QT onwards were pretty muted

Not too bad. I thought we might collapse early in the third quarter.

Positives: some of the younger players are showing good signs. I liked the games of Curtis, Perez, Taylor, LDU, Simpkin. Larkey tried hard, and will be a real force once we start to run the ball through the middle better and deliver it to him quickly. I thought Xerri was very good - rucked to advantage and was a bull around the stoppages. Goldy was good, too, and the combination with Xerri dominated the hitouts, which was why we won the centre clearances. Corr was solid, and Anderson good too. He missed some targets but hit up Larkey a couple of times. Powell and Bailey Scott are both promising and building, and Hall gave us good run.

Negatives: Ziebell should be gently retired. Stephenson has lost his confidence, and is a liability. Greenwood was absent. Horne-Francis is in a slump, and showed signs of petulance. MacDonald was so-so, as was Lachie Young and Haydn. Turner did a good enough tagging job on Kelley.

As for ball movement, it was patchy. Good at times, other times aborted by mistakes. We can't really run yet with the fitter teams. Any future success depends on the younger players continuing to improve, the phasing out at the end of this year of Ziebell, Walker, and Turner, the incorporation [back] into the team this year [or next] of TT, Goater, Ford, Comben, Zurhaar, Edwards, and Phillips; and the drafting of some talented new players.

For those who think the fault is all Noble - we're rebuilding and we would be the same under Clarkson or anyone else. If you don't have the cattle, you get flogged. Adam Sipson is a premiership coach, and he has no cattle either. The result is similar to us.
This is beyond dumb. Basically you are saying that for a rebuilding side there is no threshold of acceptability and that any coach would have us on one win with a percentage of 50? And that everyone is imagining the abysmal structure, tactics and team selection and this has nothing to do with anything. And should just be ignored because… rebuilding.

Why do I even bother reading some of this stupidity. I would’ve already finished my shit if I wasn’t.

Bunch of random kids taking the piss by cheering every Giants goal

The actual Giants sheersquad seemed unimpressed. Then they got up and left five minutes into the last

Ronny Lerner has doubled down in the HS

Kangaroos coach David Noble made a passionate call for fans to attend the game on Sunday, but his plea fell flat, with only 13,742 people rocking up, although it was a better crowd than their all-Melbourne contest against the Demons a couple of weeks ago (13,422).

The few fans who did attend would’ve been forgiven for thinking GWS was actually a top-four outfit.

North made them look like world beaters in the first half. Everything was way too easy for the Giants who dominated proceedings under next to no pressure as they toyed with the Kangaroos.

Must have received some feedback for his effort last week.

Premiership player. Brownlow medalist. Doesn’t need to be a nuclear physicist to comment on water being wet.
And I still don't have to care what he says, hes a ****wit

Kayne Turner had 8 disposals playing a full game in the midfield, tagging Kelly. Kelly had 27, 1.9 below his average for the year.

Praised as doing a great job. Might keep him there for the year.

Lmao. We've gone from hiding him in the backline, to back to the forwardline, now the guts. Pisser.
