Take it easy you Crows fan. There are plenty of other threads including on Suns forum where you can enjoy discussing Suns stupidity. No argument from me. Hugh not keeping his word knocking back all offers does put question mark about his character for me especially after his Suns love declarations. But that's just me. Thanks to Suns AFL fans don't have a boring off-season.They will, because it means they avoided GC at the very next pick and all the troubles going on there
And there is part of the problem that others see with your club. Too many wrong decisions. You have a bevy of quality mids - Callaghan is not a need anything like a Gibcus or Andrew would be. Gibcus is almost the ideal person for GC to partner up with your KPD - a top top end interceptor like Jake Lever would be a massive help to your list. But instead you guys want Callaghan who is a massive flight risk and not a great needTake it easy you Crows fan. As far as on field impact of Hugh leaving, I don't believe it will be as bad as some people suggest. Opportunity opens up for some players. Just one year too early.
It can't be so bad at Suns when Miller re-signs for life and it does appear more good news is coming soon regarding re-signings.
BTW, not that Crows have a squeaky clean bill in idiocy. Happy to fill you in if you can't remember.
Back to thread. Callaghan, Andrew seems to be Suns order. So if GWS would prefer Andrew the pick swap with Suns would make sense plus future 2nd. But it does look like GWS will take Callaghan and Suns will take Andrew.
And that's just your opinion. A lot of people see Andrew as KPP including KPD with enormous X factor and potential. Yeah, it may take 1-2 extra years for Andrew bulk up and get games. So what? Gibcus will not change Suns fortune next year either. And there is part of the problem that others see with your club. Too many wrong decisions. go and check out some of his interviews and where he discussed his extended family member Luke Beveridge..he even changed which team he followed when bevo started coaching the dogs and he has enjoyed being mentored by him. Very close family ties to the BulldogsAnd that's just your opinion. A lot of people see Andrew as KPP including KPD with enormous X factor and potential. Nothing wrong with Collins and Ballard as KPD duo. Look at their stats. Gibcus is similar to Ballard. It does appear, Thompson will play next year and Day is moving back where he played in the past too. Casboult, Graham as depth. Next year there are plenty of KPPs in the draft.
Callaghan would complement Suns midfield beautifully as in most teams. Not sure where you got that Callahan is a flight risk. He actually have relatives living on GC and they just pray that Suns will pick him up. What I hear he would be happy to come.

Yes, I listened to his interview on AFL Draft podcast where he talked about Beveridge. Nothing really worried me there. What do you expect him to say? Put it this way, unlike some on our board, if Callaghan was still on the board at the crows pick, I would be looking to field offers from the hawks, Richmond and Freo for the pick and go with Rachele or Erasmus
well..for a club that has been notorious for player retention issues..good luck to you if you get him. A dreadful risk and bad list move in the eyes of some but hey..Yes, I listened to his interview on AFL Draft podcast where he talked about Beveridge. Nothing really worried me there. why don't you head to the far queue and pull your head in as you tail me around like a voyeurIf you're going to visit/comment on literally every thread on BigFooty then at least do it with a bit of respect. You're an embarrassment as it is.

Sounds like heaven ... you know you secretly loved it!Imagine working at Olympic Park first time GWS made finals and the song was getting blasted all over the precinct every 30mins for an entire week or more....it was pure hell!
So Callaghan would be a flight risk for Suns and not GWS (if he is indeed a flight risk)? I understand that winning, playing finals helps with retention of players but plenty of players left GWS including recently. With no injuries GWS midfield is absolutely loaded. Who would Callaghan replace in best 22? Interestingly, Bruhn has not re-signed yet.Luckily for them GWS will take him but I'd agree actually. GC have to be so careful who they take at 3, actually think Andrews or Gibcus suits, but I wonder whether they consider Johnson who would be something a bit different.

I reckon GWS Will take Callaghan. We normally get a good idea of who gws are keen on a week out from the draft when they have an early pick. (Etc Taranto 2016, ash 2019)So we're hearing over here in the hermit kingdom that GWS possibly quite interested in Erasmus (who was expected to go late top 10) and Freo have been speaking a lot with Callaghan lately (which would appear to be a waste of time). Pick swap potentially or bored media keeping the cattle fed?
Bored media I'm guessing. They have got to attempt to keep us interested until next week.So we're hearing over here in the hermit kingdom that GWS possibly quite interested in Erasmus (who was expected to go late top 10) and Freo have been speaking a lot with Callaghan lately (which would appear to be a waste of time). Id say soWould the Giants look at trading up to St Kilda's pick if Josh Gibcus was still available?
