I'm not getting the impression that there's any campaign to make sure Heeney doesn't get looked at. I'm sure it was just co-incidence that c7 cut the post-game highlight just at the instant before Hardwick's head hits the ground, and that this incident isn't in the highlights on the afl site...

Just love hodgeys hardness and courage ..... when the game is red hot he'll standup and mark the high ball that he has too wait for not caring who else is around the ball .... and he takes it clean too

And his kicks out of defensive half was very clean. Will surely miss him after this season.

Not here to defend to the death a Sydney player, I feel dirty enough already but if you just take note of those afl endorsed spin doctors ( commentators) and count the number if times his name made you sick and add to that that eight or so clearances you would see he went alright.
We all see the game differently, its what makes it what it is. Its also why I don't get too caught up in I'm more right than you aguments, stats opinions and long winded critiques because we all see it differently. End of the day the scoreboard usually tells us who got more things right.

Don't get conned by the stats,
I saw the game live, I've watched the whole replay and am watching it again right now. I've seen nothing that makes Parker any more than a better than average midfielder (who does nothing when the going gets tough).

The commentators love him, though.

Horse hardly winged about it. He got asked a question about it, he stated he thought it was touched but admitted he was looking at the review through red and white eye's and probably biased.

I looked at one angle and thought it was touched. Then he made an extremely valid point that he endorses the concept but the AFL need to spend the cash on better technology.
Sorry, you'd be right as I haven't actually watched his press conference. Only read the posts that quoted him. But I was more using it as a lead in to the two incidents in the game that annoyed me.

In the game day thread Dixie Flatline made this comment
"Loved Brand's impersonation of Brian Lake to take that mark in the contest in the second quarter. Just quietly it deflated his opponents a fraction"
That was a chest mark, in the last he did a similar thing where he seemed out of the contest, then stuck his arms up and took a great grab.

He is developing well, if he wants to be our new Brian Lake he needs one more thing, those killer eyes,
not the bedroom type of Will Langford but those killer eyes that would scare opponents into questioning
the psychopathic nature of Brian Lake.

I was a doubter of Brand but it appears we may have a quality player on our hands here.
And with another preseason or two to bulk up he'll be a beast. I'm loving his aggression.

My best mate used to routinely get into threesomes at uni. Certified at least 4, including one where they flooded the shower.

I often think about this and reflect that he's the worst-looking bloke to get that many threesomes.
The. Best. Analogy. Ever.
