I always thought that Ballas falling over issues was from just running beyond his capacity. Or put a different way, if you are a musician and are subjected by your wife to the Voice and hear the tv from a different room while your doing something more interesting (watching paint dry etc), control issues like pitch/tone and breathing etc is prone to stuffing up when they try to oversing - less is more sometimes.

So with Harley, I presume that through all of this, he should have an awareness of his body and hopefully doesn't try to go beyond his limits. Kind of hard if in your mind, going 105% is what you think 100% is, moreso in the heat of the moment - open goal if I get to the ball first - and easy to overdo a sidstep and stuff that might damage you if done wrong.

Good luck Harley, I'll have a beer (on top of any other "sundry" ones) for every goal you kick - make me drunk please.

Funny - I like the 105% thing. Nothing annoys me more that commentators giving an impossibility like giving more than 2 apples when you only have 2 apples in your basket. Is that grade 1? And are they paid more than me to make "special comments" like "he really gave 110% there" - well that is kind of impossible.
I get the concept - yeah he gave his all and wanted more, but the math...the math - there is no 100%+ . Stop, just stop. Rant over.

We probably went in with 1 more forward than usual last week and he was the worst of them, so I don't think it will hurt us too much. He was named on the extended bench, probably wouldn't have played anyway.

So our tall forwards will be Taberner, Brennan Cox and McCarthy.

I don't have anything against Kersten or a bias towards Tabs but I've been interested in seeing how Tabs and McCarthy do together without Kersten since the preseason games.

Averagely average. Sometimes good. Sometimes bad. Mostly just serviceable. Yet for some reason people seem to think that makes him the worst player in the league. I think he still has some development left in him anyway. Averages the same amount of goals a game then Mitch Mcgovern.

Tabs out of the square with Cox and Cam up the ground I reckon. What is good is that all three can get up the ground.

The prospect of a straight sets exit has its own charm too though and would be a fitting way to quell their growing hubris.

I think we have no chance but I have to say, you have a pretty good strike rate when it comes to seemingly outrageous predictions... ill probably be ecstatic if he just has 6 kicks though. 6 kicks, 5 handballs, 4 marks, a few tackles and a goal in ~60% game time, somewhere in that ballpark would be a great return i reckon.
