Well Jordan Clark during his draft year actually said he wanted to play his footy away from Perth.

Then the pandemic came, preventing him from visiting his family at all. I think without the pandemic he'd still be tearing it up for Geelong

Drafter or not - surely they'd all rush home to Perth at the earliest opportunity given how great it is and how well the local media treat them

That's exactly what Clark and Kelly did?

Clark (who said he'd prefer to play footy outside of Perth) after a literal once in a lifetime event (the pandemic) and Kelly due to family reasons (eg family support for his special needs kids).

I mean, I was talking about Vic country players in general, not just those who played for Geelong.
