They should be doing a lot better than what they are now, not that I'm complaining..

Still doesnt have a plan B
I don't understand in any sport why the blame is immediately put on coaches.
Whether you like Malthouse or not, we all know that he can coach and he has proven that many times.
Our team is full of inconsistent frontrunners, that's the problem. I actually think we have been playing much better footy under Malthouse, we just don't have the players to justify his coaching ability.
Agent Malthouse has completed his mission
A major problem is the deficiencies in your list, which could of been addressed.
Was Mick even there early enough to help rectify this or still on his book tour?
For mine, it was fairly obvious you needed to be busy in trade week end of last year.
doesn't have a plan for dane swann either allowed him to play 'loose man all over ground' tonight.
You forgot gibbs. What a joke of a number one draft pickFunny that isn't it. Mick is playing so many players with defensive roles but can't send someone to Swan? The Pendlebury tag wasn't working, so switch it! Armfield, Cachia, Curnow and Robinson (at times) is to many negative players. What's worse is the tags aren't working!
To many players doing nothing tonight: Armfield, Cachia, Curnow, Robinson, Touhy, Betts, Garlett, Yarran and Casboult. Waite is inconsistent, Murphy is in horrible form and Judd can't carry them anymore. Not much depth either....
Are we going to bump this thread each time Carlton loses?
Guess what idiots on the main board? You won't be able to call him a failure until he leaves the club in a bad shape.*
*if that happens.
Are we going to bump this thread each time Carlton loses?
Eddie has zero credibility these days.Eddie said he feared for Micks health at one stage, looked a bit like that tonight a couple of times as well.
Not a bad coach Mick, when he's doing it for the right reasons.
Is it not obvious enough for you? Ratten and other Carlton football department members have damaged this club badly. Our recruiting has been terrible, development has been sketchy, the way in which they've been taught to a play as a team has been terrible, players haven't been accountable and so on.Carlton didn't shaft a club legend and pay over the odds for MM to miss the finals, he has been a failure.
Eddie has zero credibility these days.
Footy changes quickly. Malthouse has two years left to make an impact.Yes he has. Signed because power brokers thought they were close to a premiership. ...so so so far off. Carlton are crap. Overated by dumb people. ......
And Richmond don't?Carlton as a club over-rate that list. They think they have the wares when all they've is 1/3rd of a really good team. They have too high expectations and that is what led them to axe a much beloved son of the club.
Wake up to yourselves, you're shit.
They're probably going to miss the finals for the first time in his first year of his Carlton tenure. WHAT A FAILURE!Probably worth bumping each time they miss finals
He kind of was. He couldn't do anything to the list though due to the AFL's ridiculous decision to add Judd's VISY deal to our salary cap.A major problem is the deficiencies in your list, which could of been addressed.
Was Mick even there early enough to help rectify this or still on his book tour?
For mine, it was fairly obvious you needed to be busy in trade week end of last year.
You honestly think that hypocrite has credibility these days? He'll be devastated to hear an Internet numpty doesn't rate him.
Anyone that thinks you can fix recruiting, development, team play, being accountable and son on with the recruitment of one coach and in one season is being ridiculous.
Not wasting my time with trolls. Go to the bay.Has Mick lost his mojo, though? Even the great coaches tend to lose it in their mid-50's. McHale coached well into his 67th year and won eight flags, but didn't reach a grand final after 56. Mick turns 60 next month.
