Enjoy the event gary. You are a true hawk. I have a been a member for 30 years but missed a couple of years in my late teens so my scarf says 18. My boy is not yet 2 but his scarf says 2!!!!

Good on you Trent. Anyway Time Machine tells us you will be receiving a certificate in the mail too, mate.

And is your little fella still wearing his Hawks cap most of the time ?

Crikey! Thanks, Timer. I am working with one eye at the moment as the left one has to have a cataract removed in a few weeks time - the right eye procedue has been clearly a great success. It is a struggle to read at times and I have taken the time of the breakfast for the date - silly me!yes it is Saturday August 12th

And it's great to know members of lesser years are receiving certificates too. Congrats to everyone. Give yourselves big pats on the back for being a loyal Hawk sticking with our great club through thick and thin. We have been through more thicks than thin and we can be very proud.

11 years to go. Just out of interest the MCC does the same thing but offers a reserved room every game!! Waitresses and food. But HFC is getting there

I, like a lot here have plenty of years to go (29), but am wrapped this recognition is being made....

As someone pointed out, if you've been around as a member of the club for 40+ years, fair chance you would have seen some great times as well as some pretty dark days....

Think it is 50 from memory. Haven't taken too much notice being a young bloke! But I wouldn't think the club (MCC) wouldn't have many Hawthorn supporting MCC 50 year members. Melbourne on the other hand

What a great morning. 500 dedicated, long term Hawks. Each of us was personally presented a certificate by the prez. mine was funny, Signed by Jeff but a blank where Ian Robson's name should have been. He must have just about to do mine when Clarko paid out on him.

Was a fantastic morning, congratulations to the club for putting on such a great event. While I was there supporting my old man, I am already looking forward to the day when I am recognised. A true group of Hawthorn supporters; when the group broke into the theme song was whilst having their photo taken was spine-tingling!
