Honestly about where we are at. We are rebuilding and losses such as this are going to happen. We probably don't deserve to play finals this year and I think it will be good for the older players to have a year off to rest and gear up for a serious assault at the finals next year.

Why is it that Jed Lamb can constantly harass Sicily, push him in the chest and back when they're not even near the ball, but the moment Sicily responds he gets a free given against him?

Why is it that when Burgoyne or Bruest back into the man to spoil it's an infringement, but when Curnow or any other person does it to our players it's play on?

Why is it when we try to spoil it's called chopping of the arms, but when Liam Jones does it all night he doesn't give any away.

These umpires need to be held accountable. And so does our putrid delivery into the 50.

Poppy's last game for the Hawks IMO. Not the pocket rocket he used to be and has lost a few metres in his kicking. Can't see him going another year, at least not for us.

Sicily deserves to get dropped for that game. Stupid. Don't care who's on you, or how the umps are looking one way. Giving away 7 free kicks is abysmal and was down right ****ing stupid. Gave away about 4 or 5 goals with his stupidity.

Hartung. So good yet so ****ing awful. Game pretty much summed up Billy. So much potential shown but yet so disappointing. Take away his last quarter he was very good but for a bloke who has supposedly elite endurance, I can't fathom how he made two huge brain farts in the last two minutes. Still was one of our better on field which says more about the team than it does Billy.

Henderson. Was woeful. Not taking Curnow's body in the 2nd quarter late was just disgusting. Burton should have been filthy on him.

That's all I can think of now. It was fun while it lasted. Guess all streaks gotta end.

Can't blame Hartung, he ran himself into the ground since there was no one in front of him. Need to fix the forward line structure - the 4 man setup is a stopgap but won't get us a winning score.
