Clarko: hi Steve, cappuccino?

Coniglio: yes please, why not..

Clarko: *pours coffee into premiership cup... Here you go lad.
I would endorse this use of the cups.

When clarko meets with a potential target just have him walk in and put 4 cups on the table and ask them if they want to help him make up the half dozen.

Still think there will be some curve balls this trade period, internally it seems like we are on lockdown mode confirming strategy for 2019.

It is actually quite exciting and a list that is building great time ahead!

Jeez I hope Coniglio spent the weekend rugged up on the couch watching he footy while recovering from injury.
Well, he did go out for a coffee with Jags, at the least. 😉

Not sure what would attract Cogs to the Blues. Been in the wilderness for 20 years. Don’t have a permanent coach and have only 6 players moving forward that I rate as A grade or potential to be(Cripps, Walsh, Docherty-injury query, Weitering, C Curnow and McKay). Don’t rate Dow and Petreveski-Seton as highly others but think they are good players. The rest of the list is very weak. Good starting point but so many list gaps to fill!

Just has to decide what he prefers; success or cash and more cash in a brown paper bag.

I personally think Cogs is a done deal to Hawthorn.

Carlton absolutely 100% shot themselves in the foot...
We all know the Blues made a big play recently for Clarkson, and failed. This sent the message to Cogs that Clarkson was their number 1 choice. Yet, the Blues missed out.
So why would Cogs want to play for a lesser coach?

We should thank the Blues for highlighting to the AFL world - and Cogs - just how big a coach Clarkson is.....and for highlighting the fact that they'll end up with a coach that's not as good as Clarko.

Wow. What a blunder by the Blues. Foolish really.

They’re still dreaming of swaying Clarkson with 💰💰too. As is the Carlton way.

Besides cripps and Walsh those other 4 have been really up and down with form too. Would need some good coaching and culture turn around for them to make the most of their talent.

Whoever gets the gig needs to move on Thomas, Murphy, kruzer etc...

This is without Dusty too. What a bunch of downhill skiers those blue f***ers are ⛷

It’ll all be about the Blues being competitive with a top 4 side this week... BUT a side missing their top 3 players. They are a long way off and I still believe that the money is the only thing that will get Cogs to the Blues, he’s too smart to swallow the ‘we’re coming’ BS.

But those guys are still in there best players. They still rely heavily on the 30 plus players.

The last two weeks they’ve been beaten before half time, so the ‘brave’ arguement doesn’t work. Football is 50% above the shoulders and the Blues are totally conditioned to accept losing. Look at Melbourne, it just comes naturally to them and a knock to their confidence and they fall apart.
