Finally! They've been ignoring the voice of the people for years.....
I see one very high up official at most hawks aflw events. He asked me directly if it was a good idea to go with it. Said votes were strong the first 2 years (didn't indicate if they ignored the vote or not), but wanted actual opinions, not just marketing/corporate (actually felt good to hear him ask a commoner).I pretty much said it's so bad it's good, and as long as the club can have fun with it, and be ready for the trolls, it'll be a winner for the fans

iinet are going down the gurglar since they got rid of their inhouse e-mail service, customer service responses all overseas,
and many ex-customers going to Aussie Broadband, so this 'Superhero' sponsorship probably makes sense.
However (this is meant slightly in jest), does anyone pine for Hawthorn to score a ''massive'' tier 1 brand like the Audi
days, or Adidas in the english premier league? All our brands are daggy/not sexy enough? Nissan cars....yawn...KFC
a walking advertisement for trans-fats...
I realise you get what you're given/beggars can't be choosers...

High-end sponsorship is on the nose with the average fan in all sports.
Makes sense to go lower end for the PR.

Even in the US, many of the stadiums are trying to reduce their association with high-end branding

Agree. It’s gaudy like an ugly Christmas jumper. I’d back our gen Z hokballers to find a way to make it cool.

2025 Hawks home guernseys will feature the 100 year anniversary logo.

Apart from the new sponser and logo it’s exactly the same as the 2024 jersey , was hoping they’d tweak the design a bit .

One thing I would criticise Sketchers for, is not making guernseys long enough for the leaner player's torso's. I hate seeing Calsher constantly pulling his jumper down as it rides up above his shirt. He shouldn't have to worry about stuff like that on field.

Skechers are only a sponsor - ISC do the guernsey designs.
