Great post until you tried to pick the winner.I'm tipping a Cats v Hawks GF in 2016.
Should the Hawks make it, it will be five GFs in a row and six for the era. It will definitely be the last hurrah for Hawthorn and having a crack at a four-peat and five flags in the era would put them unquestionably as the best side in history.
Should Geelong make it, and they will - it'll be vying for four flags in ten years, a feat currently equalled by no team in the AFL era other than the one it should (will) face.
The AFL community deserves another Cats v Hawks GF. It's been hands down the best rivalry in AFL.
Geelong will atone for 2008, will smash the Hawks mercilessly, with notch up their tenth VFL/AFL flag and will go 2-2 for GFs head-to-head against the Cawks.
You've heard it here first.
I made that post five minutes before hearing the news about Roughead. All trolling aside for a sec, I honestly believed that Hawthorn would have one last crack, on the basis that Roughead was returning.Great post until you tried to pick the winner.
No one can pick a winner in a Hawks Geelong Grand Final.
The only guaranteed winner is the AFL community.
Just like there is zero chance of Duckwood, and any other Handbagger, experience three premiership wins in a row - oh, the irony.Zero chance of Cyril playing in another premiership in his career.

21-1 record to go with our 2016 flag is looking good at the moment
Free point hawthorn.Didn't the Cat's have a 21-1 record in 2008?

Is this the same Duckwood who as captain of the Handbaggers has a dusgusting 1 win 5 loss record in Finals?Where will you be when Joel Selwood breaks Michael Tuck's record for the most premierships played in by an individual?

Hawks wont rebuild, we can already see they are just attempting to prop up a crumbling structure with bamboo and twine.Yes we have managed to play in 5 finals while we rebuild.
Will be interesting to see how many finals hawthorn play in as they rebuild from 2017-2022
Good post ...
Even the neutrals know the Handbaggers are our bitches When it Matters.Still not as bad as a Cats fan actually thinking they'll beat Hawks in finals
