Yeah mb I see the light now, anything less than a 5-peat for current Cats side is an abysmal failure and disaster for their club.

Careful, you keep this up and you might pull each other's dicks clean off.

I'm tipping a Cats v Hawks GF in 2016.

Should the Hawks make it, it will be five GFs in a row and six for the era. It will definitely be the last hurrah for Hawthorn and having a crack at a four-peat and five flags in the era would put them unquestionably as the best side in history.

Should Geelong make it, and they will - it'll be vying for four flags in ten years, a feat currently equalled by no team in the AFL era other than the one it should (will) face.

The AFL community deserves another Cats v Hawks GF. It's been hands down the best rivalry in AFL.

Geelong will atone for 2008, will smash the Hawks mercilessly, with notch up their tenth VFL/AFL flag and will go 2-2 for GFs head-to-head against the Cawks.

You've heard it here first.
Great post until you tried to pick the winner.

No one can pick a winner in a Hawks Geelong Grand Final.

The only guaranteed winner is the AFL community.

I made that post five minutes before hearing the news about Roughead. All trolling aside for a sec, I honestly believed that Hawthorn would have one last crack, on the basis that Roughead was returning.

One player doesn't make a team, but you guys are up against it and need everything to go right, so Roughead potentially not returning for the year may well be a bridge slightly too far.

I do believe that Geelong will make the GF based on how they're travelling currently. I think that GWS is still a year off while North, whose win-loss ratio suggests they're travelling nicely in actual fact flatters them. Like Sydney, Norf will be found out shortly.

If you guys can make the big dance sans Roughy, it'd be one mighty effort. If you guys can win the damn thing without him it'd be the single best GF win in history and cement this Hawthorn side as the best side EVER. There's a whole lot of water to go under the bridge first, but I long for nothing more than another Cats v Hawks GF.

If the Hawks win the flag this year I would be suprised. It would be their best flag for sure.

Just like there is zero chance of Duckwood, and any other Handbagger, experience three premiership wins in a row - oh, the irony.

Where will you be when Joel Selwood breaks Michael Tuck's record for the most premierships played in by an individual?

Is this the same Duckwood who as captain of the Handbaggers has a dusgusting 1 win 5 loss record in Finals?

We began to rebuild our side after the 2011 premiership, which was when Selwood was appointed captain.

The fact we managed to rebuild while staying in the top 8 every year bar 2015 was a remarkable achievement by our club.

Why did Hawthorn only manage a measly 13 All Australian selections during their 2011-2015 period of 'dominance'?
