Since Freo entered the comp both sides have been about as useless as each other and neither side cares.

Both clubs have adopted the policy of if you beat your rival it is better than winning a premiership.

We all know how Freo beat WCE twice in 06 and believe they were better than them. Alot like hawks against the cats last year. or the roos this year, althoughas recently as 07 they got done in a much more important game. They think all is ok because they have beaten these teams. Same with the bombers, hawks seem to think they are superior but why? Coz you can win meaningless H&A games.

Since Freo entered the comp the hawks have won nothing yet feel superior to the cats, roos and bombers. Similar to the dockers feeling dominant over the Eagles of recent times.
