I know the AFL can do it there like but I find this one hard to believe
Why would the AFL step in and block the Dylan Shiel trade but not step in and other trades block e.g. TL. Danger, Devon Smith, etc
They didnt blockit they offered Au Pairs or some other inducement for him to stay

Because they're all completely different scenarios.

In 2015 Hawthorn were premiers. As if the AFL would sit back and let us cherry pick a young mid from GWS without trying to convince him to stay at their plaything.

TL, Dangerfield were FA's, so not even close to the same thing. The AFL have no say in what a FA does.

Devon Smith.....going to a club that's done nothing for eons. Mattered little.

I’m still baffled they can ask for priority picks when they are themselves to blame for the predicament they find themselves in.
Weren't they recently on the receiving end of the "most lopsided trade in history" too?

Ouch the Premiers are strengthening with Lynch and we are entertaining ideas of Levi Casboult.
Great contested mark, destroyed by probably the worst kicking action in the AFL.
If we could grab him, and transplant his hands on the Shoe, then we’d have a player.

Some Collingwood poster in the MM thread seems to think he’l be on his way to us. Grain of salt and all that. Fun reading at the least, Crows supporters freaking out it’s the Jack Gunston situation 2.0

Tell the crows fans to relax, Gunston was 4 years younger when he joined us, much more likely we have seen closer to the finished product with MM.

I’ve always been a big fan of Levi. I think he would be a great pick up if we can get him for the right price. Even if he can’t kick straight he would make a good target.

I don't mind Ricky, but he's been off the mark more often than on the mark these days. Reckon his contacts have dried up a bit too much.
Agree. He thought Richmond were third behind Us & Pies for Lynch and we know how that turned out.
