I thought all the recent talk had him staying.

Saints reportedly offered 1.2 a year :flushed:.

Yeah he has received some massive offers. Again just what I was told today.

That's what I've been hearing too from reading this thread, funny that.

Not having a go at just you personally but is there any point in posters just blurting out the same one line which has been said many times before? All it comes across to me is that you've just heard the same rumour which has been on these forums and in the media so it doesn't really add any weight to it.

I know the difficulties in posting a source as sometimes it needs to remain anonymous, but all I'm saying is that one line like this is hardly useful to the conversation. Literally anyone could post the same thing.

Fair enough I totally understand that. I had obviously read things on here and in the media but I had it confirmed to me today that he wants Hawthorn. Maybe it doesnt happen this year given he is still in contract (GWS cap issues but may try and offload others this year instead).

I like it - thanks for the update. Would look great in our jumper... we just need one more mid or Worpel accelerates his development like Clayton Oliver over one summer. That would be awesome.

Well i guess soon enough we'll know who actually has good sources of information

I wonder how few pages this thread would actually have if the posts stating "I'm hearing *insert player here* is coming to the Hawks" were removed

Why would the Pies trade away their only promising KPF when they're already light on for key position stocks as it is?

The only thing I can really think off with this situation is that the Pies are using Moore as bait to trade in May.

All along the Pies have had the hots for May.

Perhaps Moore is seeking around the 500-600 mark and before using that money the Pies first priority is to try and get May over the line.

I reckon there will be a club that would trade a first round pick for Moore (swans) based on his upside and the Pies then use that pick plus something else to get May.

Out- a talented but often injured youngster who could be anything if injuries are rectified.
In- a solid rock ape who is older but they can build around for 5-6 years as a key back.

But, aren't the Saints going to be short of picks?
They have a first and fourth round and also want Hannebury.
They will have to be in to future picks or players to get both.

A first round pick for Darcy Moore- yuck. Bloke can’t kick and he has the hammies of a 45 year old Nathan Buckley, if I’m every club I keep my first round pick and hope it’s pays out

Collingwood has the issues with soft tissues not the players, its the way they are managed. Compare our 2 clubs injury history, it is without doubt their high performance department that is causing the issues.

I’m open to that idea as they have had an awful lot of soft tissue injuries, although Moore’s hamstrings have been constant, and not just this season either. That many hamstring problems at 22 is a massive concern, no matter the circumstances.

Some of this speculation is looking to be like fact.

A couple things to fall into place and I believe it will be on. Collingwood are ready.

You can certainly add it to the short list.

Oliver is a bit different, his development wasn't just over that pre-season. He went from an unfit jet of a player with no work ethic in the under 18s, to a jet of a player with no work ethic in 2016 and in 2017 really put all the pieces together.

Worps is a bit different in that he's already fit and in shape, already has the work ethic - don't really think we'll see that level of progression.

Left footer, great kick, good under pressure.

Something we really missed since Goo

Remember the times the ball would be bombed in long and we looked cooked and Goo would back his body into oncoming traffic and win a contest for us!!!! I miss that as much as his kicking.

(Apologising in advance Gralin and Abasi as this should probably fit in the reminiscing thread if we had one)
