For the most part we were terrific, the most frustrating thing week after week is that we get absolutely no value for dominance, at no stage did i believe we could win this game of footy, it had "just fall short" written all over it. Im proud of the boys, but you almost get the feeling we come back next week and again we get beaten by a kick against Port in similar fashion.

Didn't get to watch the game or follow the scores. I'm impressed we got within a goal. Really thought Hawks would be too strong (I mean, 9 goal wins vs Pies/Eagles, 6 goal vs Freo).


So, well done to Wells, Thompson, Thomas, Ziebs, Swallow (basically all the players named in the bests), and JMac and Gibson on stats continue to improve. JMac should be top 10 in our B&F right now, came a long way since he was the whipping boy. Of course he may have had 10 goals kicked against him today but from what I read/see he was pretty good. Thomas leading the Coleman by 3 goals Who cares if he dives, or accentuates contact, every single club has one. People just hate him because they ripped on him a couple of years ago and said he was no good and now they have egg on their faces. He does not dive/flop/stage/stir anymore than a couple of years ago, but now people can't mock his kicking so they move onto other aspects. But Murphy, Didak, Fasolo, Jetta, BELLCHAMBERS especially, Ballantyne, S.Johnson, Puopolo, Breust, Jack Riewoldt, Milne, Hams, Shuey, Darling are all players off the top of my head who dive or go to ground or just in general do the same antics as Thomas. Well done to Thomas, even though he won't read this, for fighting through some pretty obvious demons and to have such consistency to kick 5, 4, 3, 4, 5...

And Wright apparently held Birchall. Good effort. Starting to get some form back.

Changes I would say Hansen/Tarrant in for Daw (Daw didn't look 'right', players shouldn't play the week after being concussed). Daw has been promising and exciting, but send him back to the VFL with the knowledge he did admirably and just needs to finetune his game, because he shouldn't be losing confidence by going back to the VFL as it is not a 'dropping'. And Anthony being the sub for two weeks might get placed in the VFL for a full game. Although Liam is probably keeping fit enough to play a whole game. If so, he should be elevated into the 21 and someone else needs to be a sub. Not Gibson either. Anthony is more effective playing a whole game.
(Again, didn't watch game, so these are just my guesses)

Oh and only 1 more week of no Boomer


Also I'm officially done with this site. Read some of the MB game day thread and it is literally Bay 13 shit. "Petrie is a ****ing spud" "Norf" "Thomas is a gutless piece of shit" "Lol Norf" "Daw is shit" "Scott is a flog" "Wonder what excuses Scott will have" (conveniently ignoring the last 3 weeks Scott has not had a complaint - rounds 1 and 2 he had a go at Bucks and then whinged about the roof but yeah let's ignore every other single ****ing press conference since then) and posts that were obviously deleted and yet no cards barely any posters, and not one Essendon poster, was capable of discussing the game or just updating the thread with what was actually happening. All had to include some shitstirring troll that offered nothing, and considering a lot of those posters have post counts of 15k+, **** it. I don't want to stick solely to the North board, but **** me if I want to read utter shit. Same with every thread, not just North ones, but every single gameday thread, and a heap of other threads just will get some flog like nicshata posting some shit. Done.
