Re: New Major Sponsor

Bring back Mark sponsorship Haysman.

Give me some Soaring sausages and Your ATM. Not a bad 3 years in the chair!

Say what you want about his ability to sign up sponsors but he will always be remembered as a key figure in getting the PAFC and AFL football to Adelaide Oval.

Re: New Major Sponsor

I will give it a rest no problem, the sponsors didnt pay but I guess we had some names on the guernsey. Cumulative $10 million loss in the last 3 years but happy to give it a rest.

Rory, do you really think Haysman did Adelaide Oval. I heard Andy D speak and he said that "he and his" team were solely responsible for Adelaide Oval and had been working on it since 2006. He was very clear that it was his deal.

In fairness the announcement did happen in Haysmans reign.

Finn Barr apologies for having an opinion about our great club

The point is you got your wish. He's gone, but you still feel the need to keep taking pot shots at every single opportunity. You don't like him. I GET IT! But he's no longer at the club so I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to achieve.

And it's "finbarr". One word, one 'n', small 'f', small 'b'. :)

Haysman inherits a bankrupt business model, a team that's just been cleaned up by 119 points in a Grand Final and ran smack-bang into the GFC which hobbled Bianco.

Would've been nice to coast in off the back of Bucky's hard work - the AFL licence, two rock-solid longterm sponsors in Scott's/Voda and a flag - but lightning doesn't strike twice.

Tribey the business model hasnt changed for 100 years, work your arse off in the off season to bring in membership and sponsorship. Ask Bucky, roll up the sleeves.

If you take the foot off the accelerator then you are f****ed.

Read the annual reports and you can see it as plain as day. The business model since inception of entering the AFL has reasonably constant debt and was pretty much break even.

We got smashed with crowd drop off (with a crap stadium deal) but a massive hole appeared in corporate so I am assuming not much happened in the off seasons in past 3 years. Thats my one and only point.

Olech is back to fill the hole and he just happened to leave after being passed up for the CEO role in 2008. Coincidence I think not that Haysman gone and Olech back.

Anyway we know you are good mates with MH, thats okay!

Merry Christmas

I read that with a certain degree of mirth ... ;)

Asgardian, one "s", no "u", oh what the hell, if it amuses those small minds on Bay13 ...

KT is all about doing the best we can with the cards we've been dealt and using his contacts to bring in good coaching staff and sponsors. (LOL)

He is not making any noise RE the stadium deal.

I'm sure the SANFL is very happy with their choice.

The stadium deal issue has been more or less dealt with.

The deal itself (@AAMI) hasn't changed, but we will be receiving around $9 million in AFL grants in 2012/2013/2014 (I think Adelaide will recieve $3 mil over this period in a similar arrangement), which for all intensive purposes is in lieu of amending the current deal before we get to AO. Once we get there in 2014, we will apparently be $3.5 million per season better off under the new deal.

KT's focus is (rightly) on sponsorships atm, so hopefully he can bag a couple of big ones!
