Lets move on hey, surely there is more interesting things to discuss - like who (if anyone) can roll Elmore . . . not now but come finals time? Who is the Cheatley favourite, who is the next marking forward I keep hearing Mounts are set to unleash & why on earth have the contributors from Heathcote's playing list gone quiet???
The only thing that will stop elmore is injury's the cheatly will go to last years winner and the best marking foward in the comp is West (I think thats his name has the best set on hands in the comp)from White Hills but they always seem to play him in the back line as a loose man (kicked 6 againest Heathcote in the First round) as for the last Question can not help you on that although they seem more interrested in talking about a cocky than footy

Good call doon, media and all that, who cares. As reigning cheatley medalist and from all reports andy grant will have to go close again, whether or not cail, hayes and co steal too many votes who knows.. Mounts will probably unleash this bloke after the bye:eek: It's hard to tell when you only get to see each team twice. How bout we get a top three from your clubs to this stage. From our mob i'd say Millard, Morgan and Thompson. In no particular order. From a league perspective all do the right things to get votes. John Jess has been sensational but he's a true defender and won't get too many league votes. Apparently big boze Shepard has started a market for the 2's medal and has himself in as favorite, paying $3.00:p

Watched two heathcote games this year White Hills and Huntly agree with you on Millard and Thompson both run hard and use the ball well not sure on the other bloke kicks around corners a bit to much for my liking and would think that the kid tobin goes good for you blokes as well

Tom has had a stellar year to date and would be right up there in club voting but as we all know club and league voting are alot different. That was my point bout johnny as well. Probably not quite flashy enough to grab heaps of league votes.. Could be wrong though, just ask jimmy bartel.:thumbsu:

Market for the 2's medal is currently suspended due to investigation as to why Meldrum has not put him in the one's yet. Appears that large sums of money have been accepted from a police credit account on Sheppard for the medal.

He played a few in the two's, as would be expected at the start, then had a run up in the ones. Think he was put back in the twos the week after and was their the last time i looked which was probably two weeks ago.

Is playing seconds seems to be a bit off senior GV standard!
Has played in the seniors.

In all honesty, not pi$$ing in the coaches pocket either, but i think i could make an argument for Meldrum being up there with the votes. Has had some really good games this year and his last q's seem to be the best. Thats the last thing in umpires mind.

My top 3 for H'Cote would be:

1. Meldrum
2. Millard
3. Tobin

Morgan would have to be up there.

IMO, best three performed at the club on a consistency basis. Sheppard to lose 20kg on a crash diet and play finals!

A few of the boys are struggling with computer access at work I think Doona. What about Broady, seeking out the disgruntled forward/on baller around the traps? Or have Mounts beaten you blokes to the punch?:D

i think you will find his name is dave wright tiger.not a bad player.from a neutral observer its been a great year so far with the standard accross the league lifting and plenty of competitive rounds which must be frustrating for north and huntly as they have lifted as well.especially north who could do some real damage to the finals aspirants especially at home.but i think that come the end of the year it might be dejuvu but with cail winning cheatly.elmore and colbos bottom 6 maybe a bit better than heathcotes and could be the difference in close finals.

Name the bottom six in each club then Better.

how will elmore cope without hayes for a month of football?

maggot, hope that hundred you drew on saturday at the footy wasnt taken straight to the bot

Few colbo boys invovled in a brawl at the Goulds pub. Was with the Serp boys over a hat and the Bull got the horns. Half decent brawl with even some pots being thrown and ending up with the Serp boys getting locked up!

Another win for the H.D.F.L over the L.V!!!:D

Surely colbo are looking at the team to beat now considering Hayes is now out for elmore for at least a month which is a big loss for them. Its a hard one to pick for the cheatley tho who knows , could be a bit of a suprise this year.
