The Bloods who are in pursuit of their first BFL Premiership since 1994 are also in talks with Bendigo Bomber hard nut Daniel Anderson. The 20 year old who has used his home club of Heathcote as his base club is in contract with the VFL club until December although he is undecided if he will return for a 3rd year with the Bombers. Anderson who played 15 senior games this season would be a super inclusion to the South Bendigo midfield who were unable to win enough contested ball through the 2008 finals series.

Why would he come back to Heathcote now, same as Grant Weeks at Colbo, play as high as you can for as long as you can then come home

I think you'll find that Daniel will stay with the Bombers.
 
Pretty quiet out there at Locky , Conrad ! and haven't heard from Farva either . Has Pritch ordered a media lock down ? or have you decide to give away big footy and collect stamps ? :(

Seriously I wouldn't mind knowing what's going on , heard lots of good things around the traps and need some conformation before I get exited for the cats in 09 .:thumbsu:

don't even have to take my shoes off to count howmany times I've been there this year Nesko ya spaz ! And why OPT ? why not the Locky Pub ? Are they now the Echuca west Cats ?

Give nesko a break. he lives in bendigo its not his fault he doesnt know you spend your time at the Shamrock. pretty sure you'd need more then your fingers and toes to count the times you been there.

it could quite possiblbly Farva's birthday and could be a possibility it is being celebrated in Echuca.

As for the gone quite. i think i'll wait to round 1 till i say who we have and havent got because the start of the season is still awhile away and anything is possible. Dont want to go jumping the gun and getting called cocky like previous years.

I will let you know that nesko was misinformed about Anthony Baker. He will be playing in the Cats Jumper and will be the assitant coach.

Looking forward to the 09 season boys, preperation is well underway for all teams no doubt!.

Heard the same last week, a few handy Murray Bombers dropping back a grade to run around with LBU.

Geez with the guns from Blackburn, the GVFL and even some handy Bendigo FL guys coming across maybe you blokes should be playing an interleague game vs the BFL in 2009 :eek:

Be fair to say the HDFL is one of the better "district" level comps getting around at present.

It is fair to say simo was wrong about Col Durie , but I don't think he's far from the truth . My mail is there is a number of former Echuca bombers interested in playing and some star players who are 50% keen to play . But it might be a little early to say .

I personally hope they get the players they want without putting out too many locals , It would be good to see a premiership photo on the wall without the players sporting moustache's and mullets :D.

I guess you're right Streaker about the kindergarten league, and Bond being their overage player!:D With the former superstar of the league returning and his brother in law, looks like we'll have plenty of pace around the forward line!! Going fishing with the superstar in a couple of weeks so his pre season will be shot again and Pistons is coming as the side attraction!!:thumbsu:

Dont know there names but heard 2 of them can play CHF/ CHB. One was Durie (WRONG), Roo could be a chance to come back as well, and as Doona mentioned a couple of handy players out of the other league up there are apparently signed up....

If the mail was off the mark on Durie then it may be off with the others...Although the source is fairly in the know up on the Murray...

PRE SEASON, don't think the man knows what it is.. Another can maybe! Watch out for Piston his fishing ability greatly exceeds his footballing ability, sure to be the standout fisherman of the trip.

Word is the supersatr is on his way down to Melbourne to party with benny, make sure he's sinnus's aren't blocked and stuff:D
 
Go to ********************** for LBU signings.

Things are looking good at Catland. Who knows, they may even get as far as runner-up again!!
