I think the Tibbinator is holding off on this Slater thing as new information has come to hand. I am of the belief a key Colbo reserves player was sighted with him in Wodonga on Monday night . . . . any truth???

If so I must applaud the effort (and expense account) ya's r prepared to go to in enticing him back to Hopperville.

Quick question for Doona. Has Adam Daltons old man had any contact since he has been cleared to Marby Park???

The GV and OnM played a cracker of an interleague game on the weekend and after looking at the GV side, they picked their side on the current form players of the comp.
If the HDFL had an interleague side to be picked in the next week, who'd get a game from your club on current form?

here's a few who i reckon would get a baby blue and gold gurnsey:

D Lock - red hot form past two weeks especially
L Hill - swag of possies in all his games so far
T Tobin - has been one of the coates most consistent
A Meldrum - has shown enough as a utility playing HB HF or in Ruck
S Newth - has played midfield mainly, but would slot nicely in a pocket
L Featherstone - arguably the best U21 player in comp
J Taylor - despite the fact he missing a few shots, he's getting plenty of it
L Jacobs - has been impressive in first 4 games
A Grant - aparently dominated V Hillies, and finished among the best other games
C Carter - Leading the mounts midfield at the moment
A Wilson - didnt play against Colbo but had 2 previous Best ons for the Roos
J Schubert - the form key defender in comp at the moment?
I Kay - new to comp and has been going well at Elmore
R Hayes - Key Fwd or Ruck

care to add any others, please dont say MISSY HIGGINS!!!

couldnt include Dunne due to suspension and Fletcher is only 1 game back.
Two other young blokes worth noting for the roos too are Grant Wearne and Clinton Moran - they are going to be good long term prospects for Doona's mob.

Lmao isnt missy higgins that good. he played at skool with us abit and he has pretty strong hands.

Realise it's all about footy...but heard a whisper !! "Bad blood at Mounts"
That a prominent Mt Pleasant netballer has been suspended for 2 matches...her CRIME " going direct to yabba to submit a 200 game testimonial for herself" as the CLUB had neglected to do so, even after being informed....sounds like the netballer has been "STITCHED UP". I've got less for striking
