Big news coming out of Tooleen with the no 1 ruckmen in the form of C.Ross set to leave the blues. Dookie have been in pursuit of the young ruck. Surely he would be seen as a priority signing for Mount Pleasant as he was a key figure amongst the blues this year.

Where is the tibbinator. I'd like to know if the rumours about Fitzgerald from sandhurst as having either signed or being heavily wooed (i.e Cash) are true. Would be a very handy slot in and they will have some dollars with Fevleaki since departed. Haven't personally seen this guy play but would be automatic best CHF in league straight up, would i be correct in saying that.

Elmore: The rumour doing the rounds is that they have signed 2 players from Sandhurst in Nilon and Fitzpatrick, plus Perez is training with them. Fitzgerald considered to be weighing up options pending a move to Melbourne (the town, not the demons). However they have also clinched D Bevan from South who aparently inked up last nite with the bloods. A cashed up blood brigade may have upped the ante after said player aparently galloped with the grasshoppers on Wednesday night.

Colbo: the Hoppers have spread their recruiting tenticles towards the Goulburn Valley with a couple of GV senior players in conversations at the moment. They will need to replace Jeremy Brown who is Burra bound, whilst D Irwin has retired, and S Hill is Alex Gaudia at the moment - Destination Unknown. A Big loss for the Grasshoppers in the eyes of the Tibbinator is Matt Pinniger, who will be jetting to the UK for six months to continue his love affair with cricket and Bulmers Cider.

No, just a honest player. Someone told me he is on 650 at Heathcote. If true, that is ridiclous. He is a good stopper in defense and has played in the midfeild with limited success. Not a match winner by any stretch of the imagination.

A i said earlier Dave is an honest player and a great fella. Played a lot of junior cricket and footy against Dave. He did not tear the Golden Rivers league apart which i believe is a lesser standard than HDFL. He will be a good defender but not a superstar
