Shannon, Hayes, featherstone, Conden, Grant, Quick, Salidino and about 100 others

Why would we want to talk about Shannon Hayes, he plays for Mitiamo now. You should jump on LVFL thread if you want to talk about him. :D:D:D

You seem to have an eye on heathcote players. 3 current ones you mention and 1 former:D.

Sonny turned himself around last year and went close to winning the b+f. Was absolutely sensational. His discipline, whilst being poor in the past was also top notch. He's a massive cog in the wheel if the saints are to push hard this year..

Sonny is going to need more than one year of disciplined footy for people to forget about his behaviour in the past. If the kid is dumb enough to king hit someone, especially in a grand final then people are always going to remember him for it. He can play good footy from what I have seen so just hope he doesn't have a 'brain explosion' like Barry every know and then.
RWB, if you think someone deserves to be king hit then you are more of a F$@#ing idiot then you sound on here in real life. Heathcote would love having you around there up and coming juniors if you are any example!
I think i said the bloke got what he deserved you clown, not once did I condone the action. So if it had have been a shirtfront or getting hit by a car in the carpark, that's karma. Just one more thing Buttons, Im pretty sure that Hearn played the game out and wasn't overly affected by the hit on the day and for him to squeal like the soft little pig he is at the tribunal was a disgrace. I know, i was Sonny's advocate and the kid went in and told the truth and copped the seven weeks on the chin. You arrogant, we do nothing wrong c@#t$ from up the road are really starting to s h i t me. Short memories when it comes to players who do things wrong in your own backyard. Now you and your hick mates, F@#k off.

 tell us what you really think RWB ;)

Im the player who suffered the 2 broken vertabrae for lbu against huntly on saturday, i would just like to display my disgust for the huntly supporters that were right next to the boundary line when it happened yelling abuse like 'look at this sook squeeling like a girl cos hes winded'. Kicking a man when his down is as weak as piss an i hope whoeva they r feel ashamed for it. I'd also like to thank everyone at LBU for all the support and the way they treated the situation with such professionalism.

Obviously it isn't what any club would want supporters to do, but s h i t mate, it is football. Stuff like that happens everywhere. An opposition player gets injured, and the crowd yell, jeer and cheer. I would assume that the supporters weren't doctors, and couldn't tell immediately that you had two broken vertabrae at the time, and if they did know, I would suspect they wouldn't have said anything.

Are you going to tell me that if an opposition player gets injured at Lockington, that the Cats supporters will stand up and politely golf clap as he gets carted off. I wouldn't f 'n think so.

So please stop your sooking.

Yeah, I will Doona. Roota, we're going over old ground that people from your club keep bringing up and I'm about jack of it. If Buttons wants to slag off at me, fine, go right ahead. Sonny doesn't even read these threads so if he can't defend himself, I will. Hearn was as big a dog that day than what Sonny was but your blokes don't see that. All high and mighty do gooders Roota and trust me, you don't have to delve too far into history to find players from Mounts that have done worse acts on a footy ground.

Fair enough, I wasn't around in those days but i have played a lot of footy with Royden and have seen nothing to suggest he is a dog. He has got me out of a lot of trouble in the past. Anyway let the past be the past and in the future and in particular the next couple of weeks there will a ripper contest or two between our clubs

Yes im going to tell you sumone at lockington wouldnt give sumone shit if they were screaming in pain the way i was because we arent a bunch of scumbags, even if i was just winded sumone at lbu still wouldnt give me shit because as i said a man shouldnt be kicked when hes down its just weak as piss and i dont think cats supporters would politely golf clap an injured player off but im guessing they wouldnt make the players pain worse by giving him shit, im not complianing bout the huntly players im just saying sum loud mouth supporters at huntly should actually support thier team instead of abusing the opposition and they might get sumwhere this year..

Obviously this bloke was in a bit of pain and the crowd would have seen that and for the crowd to jeer and cheer at him is pretty low really. If it had of been someone from your club you would be on here giving the same sob story.

R U kidding heathcotes 2s team the last few years have featured some of the most gutless king hitting snipers the league has seen. Wont name names, everyone knows it but.

I was at the game that day and yes it was 3-4 years ago. Happened to watch the video of the game a couple of years later with some Mounts guys and Sonny wasnt even in the picture when he began his run to hit Hearn who was looking the other way. Great he has improved this area of his game now, but it looked bloody ordinary and unfortunately blokes are remembered for these things. Also recall the senior coach at the time requesting he grab his bag and clear off due to the incident. As for squealing at the tribunal, see what you'd do if some bloke whacked you in similar fashion. Not sure you'd be so obliging either. I know i wouldnt. Finally, interested to know the Mts players who have erred in the past in similar fashion. Not being smart here, i am honestly interested. Dalton may come to mind, however at least the bloke he hit was looking at him.

You wont name names or instances but you expect everyone to believe it.
Since that day i cant remember anyone from the heathcote 2s being reported correct me if im wrong....

Mate you are an idiot. really... why did any supporter have to say anything. wether a player gets winded, kicked in the balls or a broken bone. they should have the desency to sit back and say nothing. you are there to support your team. not go on and get into the other team. especially when they are in obvious that they are in pain.

Try Dennis Finn, What he did to Cooper of Elmore in the 1980 GF was filth. MP is not sacred in this area. Oh and surprise I think the GF was at H'cote
I am sure if we look at most games from 28 years ago across all leagues and all clubs including the VFL as it was then we will find incidents that are terrible by todays standards. I reckon the game in general is much cleaner and the incidents that we are talking about are very rare

True Roota, I was merely pointing out to 6from7 that MP have had thugs play for them, and sure, an incident like that one wouldn't happen these days, but he was the one that was interested to know. I'm pretty sure Finn didn't last much longer in the HDFL. Whats up with these posts?

Not sure what the go is with the posts mate???

Im a 2's player, have played against sonny since well back in the under 17's, always enjoyed playing against the bloke, sure he has had a burst of anger here and there, but has always shook my hand after a game. dont know about the incident being talked about so much lately, dont condone what it sounds like happened, but it was in the past and sonny has definately pulled his head in past few years and played good hard footy. if you dont like hard football, stay off the feild.

Time to move forward i think boys and talk about the stuff that matters here and now.. Round 2!! Should be a cracking round with some ripper games.. Tips are pretty difficult so early in the year but here go's.

Firstly Broadford play their first game of the year and word is Doona and the boys are quietly confident they can topple Colbo out at Colbo. Will be interesting to see how both sides go, both are missing a few marque players from the last few years. I'm going to go with Colbo simply because of the home ground advantage.. colbo by 9 pts

White Hills will be keen to atone for their first up loss and square off with neighbours Huntly, who could get the chocolates for the first time in a long time. Hillies by 14pts

Locky and North should also be an entertaining contest with both having recruited well in the off season. Locky are always hard to knock off up their. Again i'll go with the home side. Locky by 24pts

Finally Heathcote and Elmore at Elmore should be a pearler. With the barometre set to rise again on the weekend the action will be hot up at Elmore Reserve. Heathcote will be keen to take it up to the yard stick of the comp whilst Elmore will be keen to once again send the rest of the comp a clear message. Saints- just

Fact of the matter is conrad , once you pay your entry fee in that gate , you have purchased your right to say what ever the hell you want . That goes for clubs everywhere with the exception of Nathalia in the murray league , who's constant clapping is like chinese water torture . Sometimes wish they would just abuse me .

ps. Good luck spinning the wheel tonight , noticed a truck load of vb headed towards Locky , must be brownless's rider !

Thats a load of crap bud. The only thing you have purchased is the right to watch the game from within the fence. Its then up to the individual whether they carry on like a moron or not. Any one who chooses to conduct themselves in an unacceptable manner should be ejected from the ground.
But for those of you who seriously believe that your own supporters wouldnt sledge a player from the opposition when they get cleaned up or injured, have a reality check!
Thats the way it is, ferrals go to the football and make a spectacle of themselves!!
