H.hey Roota (Warrick Capper, showbag) I called in to have a look at Mounts, Hillies on Saturday. I didn't think Mounts were struggling for depth after watching the end of the magoos. After seeing you run out and hobble around until you got injured it makes me wonder, why you were even out there.

By what everyone is saying,Old Saint looks to have made a safe bet. Big Ump is very clever, Typed and run.He can type but he can not hide Old Saint.

Here we go again, surely you have better things to do than get on here and have pot shots.
As you would have noticed i was hobbling around a bit which would indicate that i may have been carrying a bit of an injury. As to why i was out there, well it was a very important game for us in terms of our entire season so sometimes blokes have to just get out there and get on with it.
End resut was we won and thats all that I really worry about

Yeah thought it might have. Just a quick word of advice for the future Roota, If ya gonna try and hurt Pete Angove's knee, never use that part of your thigh as ya may come off second best. Did you manage to have a beer with the Hillies boys after the game? How is the young fella that got the knock in the two's going? and finally I don't know what happened Roota but you must have put the fear of christ up the moose cause I couldn't spot him anywhere

Was it Pete Angove's knee, i didn't really see who it was coz i wasn't expecting anyone to run in to me!!! Had a can with a couple of the lads after the game which was good.
Last report i had heard on Jase's condition was that all the scans that he had at the hospital came back clear and that he would be fine. Didn't see what happened but he was a very sick boy in the rooms before he went to hospital. Full credit to all the trainers and people who helped out and we hope that he gets back on the park soon.

Thanks mate, was rapt for the boys to get the points as they have been very good since our touch up at Scott St. 4-5 weeks ago. Unsure if it was the relief of a victory or those dozen stubbies and that bottle of red but it was the best Saturday nights kip Ive had in nearly a month

Boys the HDFL is having a ''Sunday Football Show'' on Sunday August 5th at the Warehouse nightclub. Match reports, interviews, auction, quiz and much more. Tickets $10 each including $1.50 pots from 12 to 1:30 and 4 till 6 so plenty of value should be a good day. Profits from the day get pooled back into the clubs who support so get along. A salesperson will be set up at each club to sell the tickets.
