Chad as captain racking in 348 for me saved me big time. As did Vince's 142 making up for some well below average scores

i was coming 22nd on SC, with 2350 and 2225 first two weeks. This week 1976. Any idea how my week 3 score will rate against others? Was it a low scoring round?

Poor week overall (1942) and one in which some monster scores were swamped by underachievement:

The Good: C Cornes, H Shaw, M Pavlich

The Bad: <insert St Kilda player here>, Johnstone, Cox

The Ugly: Brown, Simmonds

No trades though...and I only had 3 players with 0s beside their name, so can't complain too much. Hopefully money lost on some underperfoming guns will be made up the young un's - Rioli, Gamble, West, Pfeiffer, Ebert, Bird, Taylor, Palmer, Tippet, Henderson....

Still startled at how so many premiums dissapointed, how it was a high scoring round and how all the high scoring teams scored poorly.

Might go Chad Cornes captain this week.
No-one looking like an obvious choice.

4401 last week had me at #160. i'm hoping my 6677 has me in the top #100.

The Chad did me very well but also had Brown with 26. The great news is that I scored 2192 with only 20 players playing. I'm happy with that.

For the recored I scored 2192, reasonably happy with that.

Don't really want to do any trades this week, have to see how Cox and Porps pull up. I heard Cox was on crutches so hopefully it's not too serious. If he's out for a bit dunno what I'd do most other ruckman are average at best.

The one saving grace is I don't think I would have done that much better had I made the trades I was considering last week, so at least I still have them up my sleeve, along with several handy little cash cows...

You kept him as well?

I didn't see the whole game, but to be honest he didn't look that bad. He was strong and fast and did a couple of good creative things that gave me pause.

On the plus side he's only dropping in value by about 10K, but on the negative, he's turned from a straight swap proposition to something a bit more complicated, and there are a few others in my sights.

Until I see the full value change catastrophe tomorrow I won't know for sure, but my gut feeling is he may actually not be worth dumping this week.
