Yeah I'm pissed off. After acquiring Lenny last week I only have 395k for a backman. None under that are any good. Maybe Bassett?

I also snapped up Lenny last week..but I have a bit more cash. But I wanted to use that cash to get ROK for Porpz...ahhhh

If I use all my cash, I can get Stiffy, or JMac, but then Valenti has to play

Wanting to cash in Hill ($269,800) for a rookie. Is their any cheap kids likely to get a game? To sit on the bench just in case.
Had my worst week for the year 1910. Only 6 players over 100 (12 last week)

I can afford any forward other than Roo, Pav, Chappy, Buddy, Lids, Brown. Who should i get? Is ROK the obvious choice?

Same goes for the backline; anybody other than Shaw, Gilbee, Mattner, Burgoyne, Bradshaw. Thinking Drummond or Pratt or Goddard?
Stiffy starting up forward last game didnt fill me with confidence in him.

Thoughts please :)

I'm thinking of bringing in Pratt for Chad just because he seems to be the most consistent back with a lowest score of 69.

Milburn looks to have found some form with a 2-game average of 140, he had been averaging 90+ for the majority of the season so no complaints there. Is 30k more expensive but he plays for the Cats so you know they're going to share it around.

I have Goddard but he's a bit too inconsistent, 150 followed by a 70.

Palmer's impact has been greater than Murphy's.
I think he will poll 5-10 brownlow votes and lead the dockers possession count.

I'm not saying he will definitely win it, just saying he should.

Cothin is now and will be the best to come out of last years draft. Palmer quite possibly could be just as good if he new how to kick. How does a guy get picked top 10 and cant kick over a jam tin i thought those days were gone

I too am thinking Cornes to Pratt, but alas I only have 3 trades left.

Only straight swap option is Birchall.

Doesnt fill me with any confidence tbh.

Morton looks to be the casualty with a BE of 114 but to what? Some random rookie from the south side? Andrew Demetriou? Samatha Lane?

Damn.

I may have just found a straight swap replacement for Cornes.

Unique, full of risk, has played 6 games last 2 good scores.

Any guesses?

No its not Eric MacKenzie either. Last year I would have seen his 89 avg and gone yep he is in.

Much wiser this year, or am I?

:)

Wish I had 5 trades.

Would have Pratt in straight away tbh.

If Walker from the Crows is named I may be tempted to ...tempt fate and send Morton out and get Pratt leaving me with 140K odd and 1 trade to either wait for another LTI or upgrade Kreuzer or Rioli...

2009 yet?

I thought Massie as well or Chris A Johnson.

I have a few options for Chad:

McLeod
Guerra
Birchall
Kennelly (frought with danger)
Maybe even Scarlett given his price and last 2 games!

Thoughts will be appreciated.

How about Ibottson? Fairly consistant, without being spectacular.

McPhee?

And Kennelly has a clause in his contract that says if his shoulder pops out more than once a quarter, it's time for the knife ;) ;)

Dunno what the hell to do this week. 3 trades left, but have the Chad, Gary jnr and Cox. Am tempted to go Ablett>Goodes, which would free me up $100k or so leaving me able to upgrade Chad to a gun. But that leaves me with one trade, and my luck Gablett will come straight back in and continue tearing it up.

Wish i bloody knew what the real go with Ablett was.

They'll wait till post season given thier injury worries already at the swans.

Didnt ablett come out during the week and say that hes a chance this week but a definate next week?!
