Can I have some opinions on the best 4-5 rookie backmen.
I've currently got S.THOMPSON and PROUD on my bench.

I think PROUD will keep getting a game but if THOMPSON can't hold his spot after his round 1 performance, is he ever going to hold a spot?

Any thoughts!

i have s.thompson, j.edwards and n.brown as my rookie defenders. just need 1 of them to play each week and im sweet

Stocks of rookie backs are a little thin this year... However, Harry Taylor and Nathan Brown are the two who are tracking upwards that fastest.

Those two are followed by Thompson, Edwards and Pfieffer.

I reckon Thompson won't take long to get back into the squad.

thoughts on trading aker away for cam stokes and then using the extra 300,000 to upgrade hawkins->someone or kosi->cox etc??

I cant see taylor keeping his spot when rooke comes back and theres not too much talk about s thompson on the kangaroo board. Edwards and Pfeif are not guaranteed either. Only person to cement a spot is brown. Mine is Brown, Pfeif, Thompson

i allready have rioli and tippet. im not sure gamble will hold his spot with the blokes still to come back into the cats side.

i dont know much about josh hill. is he a better option than cam stoke? will he play regular games? how much is he?

every man and his dog is getting hill this week.

he should hold his spot. won't score as high as his current average but should put out about 60-70 a game.

i would wait a week or two on upgrading edwards to kennelly coz then edwards price would have risen leaving u with more cash. U could also upgrade waters to a gun like sam. fisher.

I didn't mean this week on Edwards for Kennelly because as you said Edwards will go up in price and kennelly only scored about 40 (?) on the weekend so shouldn't go up by too much.

I had Monfries in my team thinking he would play but as the teams were released at the last hour and he wasn't in I tried to trade him but couldn't. So week after downgrdaed him to Hill and now have something like $300,000 left.

yeah he's 100k or so cheaper but im not convinced he'll maintain that average all year. im after a keeper

He should maintain an average of 100+ with Juddy getting it all the time and not Murph. One bad pre-season game and averyone went off him. He is a keeper

cant believe it 3 weeks out from round 1 i had a side picked. then spent the next 3 weeks fiddiling around with it, if i had of stuck with my original line up i would be avg 2200 0r 2300
