I'd love him to bring this beard back.

Love Medhurst, I'd love him to kick 10 goals tonight. I don't ask for much, but would love him to end the night with 10 goals, 0 assists.

Last I heard, Medders was returning from whence he came to fornicate faeces upwards.

Those motivational posters are pretty funny.

LOL. Classics!!

CAN'T believe the thread title isn't changed yet.

I tried but once you have a few posts you can't change it. It;s in the mods hands now.

Weird. In a 98 point reaming I think Medders might be the only vulnerable player. Hopefully he gets another game next week, it takes time to adjust to the pace of AFL footy, if he can be more damaging on the attack he can keep his spot.

just goes to show that 'role' is different now. Much like Davis, he spent most of his time chasing defenders and causing turnovers.

What would see him go out is that he just wasn't clean with the footy at all.

I think he did well. People have to realise the team is very different now with Dawes and Macaffer up there as tall targets.

Remember the days when they used to give medhurst 50m kicks on a one on one? He'll be playing a different role and I think he did that ok tonight. Maybe a little rusty though.Only shocker was that direct handpass in the last 10 minutes. Doesn't warrant a drop though, deserves another go.

Medhurst should be given another shot if he stinks it up again next week then drop him and it will be tough to get another game again this year.

Was below his usual game and will struggle to hold his place

made some poor decisions

Leon was listed as "2 weeks" and a "quad" on the scoreboard tonight, so Meds will most likely get at least one more game.

I think he deserves one more, if he doesn't lift his standard though, I can't see him playing ahead of Davis.

Meds was "good" tonight, not brilliant, but good.

10 possessions and 1 shot on goal isn't really good enough at the level we are at.

It was great to see him out there though wasn't it. I put the fumbles down to nerves, I got the feeling he really put pressure on himself to perform. Deserves at least one more week

Poor tonight, really doesnt seem to want to really work enough off the ball, and didnt attract much ball through him, turned it over a bit too.

Still reckon he is cooked and not in our best 22 anymore but if he were to come good and help win us a flag i would happily eat my words.

It seemed like he got into his own head, in turn made mistakes and dropped marks.

I dare say he will get another chance next weekend, something tells me we will rest a few more next week;)

I thought offensively he looked alot better than Davis or Sidebottom have for awhile and they are who he is competing with. He looked a little out of touch but that is to be expected. His defensive pressure was very good I thought, he tackled and coralled really well. I think he did enough to keep his spot in the side. Davis will come in for Lockyer or Sidebottom I suspect.

does he get another chance, I hope so, 1 week of soul searching might be enough, he is now at the crossroads in his football career at collingwood.. he might be a diamond or just another bit of coal hehe, either way it will be another step towards a flag...:D
