So you admit you had to wait and wait and wait through two Port finals campaigns, only to come back and start posting because of this?

What a squib :$

Honestly, I've barely seen you in the last two or three years here... the depth of Crowbot flogs here has been really shallow. I've had to amuse myself by trolling 16 other teams.
As shallow as the camry playing list this year, **** all Phil Welch can do about that in one off-season

This is what I keep arguing with my Port Power friends. They are blind to the fact that before they started winning, their crowds were shithouse! But they keep denying it!
I'm not denying our crowds and support were average from 2006 to 2012, but one thing you need to take into account Aami Stadium was a shite hole and a lot of our supporters didn't like going there because it was more a Camry home ground with Crowbot paraphernalia plastered around the ground everywhere you look. Would be like Hawthorn playing their home games at Kadinia Park. You must be too young to remember what your clubs position was like in the 90's.

So you were too scared to go to AAMI coz of Crows stuff! Good to know!

Ha! Your home day "experience" saw the gates renamed and all your Powa shit all over the place. You even had blue seats to disguise your woeful attendances ..then who could ever forget TARPS!!!!

Even then ...with your club on it's knees - where were you all? Your favourite son desperate for a win and some support as a coach - you all let him down - because you didn't like the stadium ????
Crap.

Don't give me that line coz it doesn't wash - your crowds were there in 97 and 98 when we had just won flags and you had no problem with it then. Your crowds were fine in 2001 - 2005
No - your supporters go to games when you win - and you all disappear under your rocks when you lose. It was like that even in the SANFL days.

You are, and always have been , noted as the least loyal and the biggest fair weather supporters getting around, and this post also makes you the biggest of sooks!
No plums !!!!!!!

(Oh ...and as for my age and being "frightened" - I went to Crows games at Moorabin and Victoria Park.
I was there for this ....
131 points v Adelaide, R7, 1991 (Moorabbin) - St Kilda 24.18 (162) v Adelaide 4.7 (31)
And the Saints supporters were great! )

Were you there for this ????
13.8.2011
Hawthorn Hawks 31.11 197
Port Adelaide Power 5.2 32

So let's dissect this. A ground that is 5 minutes from the 'spiritual home' of PAFC is equivalent to Hawthorn travelling 90kms to Kardinia Park?
Your supporters are scared of a few Crows logos? Hawthorn never had problems winning premierships and attracting crowds when they played at a virtually neutral Waverley Park, so what's your excuses?

No you couldn't, even your board reckons you got a handout from a 3rd party to cover the cost of paying out Slops.
I had to click my 'show ignored content' button to see what you were on about, I didn't know that vikingblood was even still around here. Does he still celebrate injuries?

Phff, Hawthorn were dead broke in the 90’s floggo even after all their success. I only made the Waverly, kadinia Park comparison because of the rivalry. I’m pretty sure the bins weren’t painted brown and gold and you weren’t greeted with giant hawk posters and signs at the gate. Anyway didn’t stop me from going to FP and watching my club beat your franchise 19 to16.

Hawthorn was such a financial behemoth after basing itself at Waverly in the 90s they tried to merge with Melbourne.... Good call mate:thumbsu: :(

I do love this new line of argument the mouth breathers in here are taking... but but but but your crowds were shit 2 years ago...

Yep they were:thumbsu: cool story, they arent now and dont look like being anytime soon so enjoy that little win flogo's you've managed point out the damned obvious to everybody..

Only in Pissant little Adelaide would a bunch of myopic grouth thinkers actually prefer their club to be shackled with a crippling finanical deal stopping them from reaching West Coke or Collingwood levels of earnings because it hurts Port more than the extra money might benefit them...

Even Hawf/Cats or Pies/Blooze fans would be able to unite against a common enemy if this kind of crap happened in Melbourne but in the state that's main radio station actually promoted Steven Rowe AFTER he was threated with deformation action by Collingwood would the opposite be true #SAHeapsgood..

You were asked to show evidence of this and couldn't provide any. Don't embarrass yourself any further. As for 'ignore' you never did, you just sat and squirmed.

Do your research on how that came to be. Nothing to do with Waverley and was a period where corporate support collapsed for a lot of teams due to the recession. The Hawks won the 1991 flag and were still without a major sponsor until after the season started.

Oh, you'll have a few good years and then the shine will rub off.
Problem is - your supporters don't stick.
Never have ...never will ...and even WITH all this new oval, new bandwaggonners, good times, good draw, you can't make any money.
So....when that wheel turns - and it will - is there any chance between now and then you could actually make some money - stash some cash away so the rest of the league and the SANFL don't have to keep propping you up!

And as AFC HAVE managed to make money even with what you refer to as a "crippling financial deal" (crippled you not us) I can only IMAGINE the mountain of dollars when the deal IS improved....we make $3 mill you might make $1.

Port (LOL) are a lazy $2 mill behind already !?
