We're not performing to expectation but there's a lot of factors there. Dimma's not exactly on the scrap heap, if we dropped him he would be in another senior coaching role before he left the building.

That’s incredible. I’d love to know the % of premiership players over the same period that are picked up after the second round including the rookie list? I understand there are more licks in this range however there seems to be as many low draft picks/rookie listed players as high draft picks

What’s so incredible about it ? Anyone with half a brain can see if you can get two to three superstars in a close vicinity of drafts you are in a good position to win multiple flags.

Missed the point it’s actually an appalling stat. Shows bottoming out isn’t it’s all cracked up to be. Shows you have as much if not more success with later picks

Point missed is that some players are double to triple or even 4x premiership players. IDGAF , but in the Lids draft Lance Franklin was the number one pick, but Casino Jackson went small as usual . Hawthorn walked out with two elite footballers from that draft.

They were them days when Wells smashed it and they were ahead of the pack with talent identification and list management

The above players are what elevated geelong to the team they have been last 16 years and only 2 top 10 picks and no top 5 picks from a bottoming out as being suggested.

Rebuild properly means dont top up an aging list trading out your early picks for players in there prime now. Do that when your closer to your window .

I assume you think we are close to that premiership window again which I certainly do not .
