Bulking up would add to his marking ability. Notice how he almost takes a lot of good marks but just drops them. With a bit of extra bulk, he should be able to grip them which is one area that would be handy to complete. But yes, I agree with your second paragraph, he does need to lead up the ground and become hard to match up on. Right now, he's a bit of a downhill skiier.

yeah, he can get his hands on the ball in a lot of contested marking situations, but he really shouldnt be in that many contested marking situations - needs to get on his bike and have a slight gap on his opponent. Would take a million marks across half forward / wing, like a little riewolt.

We've already had a dud from WC in McDougall. Josh Hill is too valueble to give up. Simple as that.

Hill is lazy & needs a "Rocket" from Rocket at the end of every quarter to wake up. His response at Williamstown after getting dropped in the finals was disgracful. He has a great engine, great mark & kicked 31 goals this year, he would be great on the big grounds far out west.

Eagles 1st pick in a shallow draft for Hill or they can draft another Sampi.

The big Q has more value than Hill, Q can ruck, play FF and has been good as a clearance player.

Not overly keen on giving up our 2nd round pick and a 21 year old for a 27ish?? year old.

Having said that, you would have to pay over the odds to get him and from my knowledge his body is pretty sound so should have a few years left in him.

But would he be likely to even leave? Id imagine that he would be popular at the club and certainly is with the fans.

Was good enough to play most games this season and played very well in a large slice of them. He is only going to get better. Quite scary how good he actually could be.

Imagine him with a bit of bulk and putting 4 quarters together.
