regardless of everyone's pre-conceived ideas based on the enormous amount of articles that weren't based on leaks, hird and essendon are going down swinging here. delusional they may be, but the negotiated settlement route has already cost the jobs of the 2 head honchos at the club. for this to have gotten this far, it must be more than just hird who is delusional, you would have to presume the rest of the board are comfortable going down this track. otherwise, we would have seen more of them walk. i'm glad the afl is going to have to prove their assertions in court as opposed to themselves via their own hearing. it's going to be a lot more interesting and ultimately satisfying and transparent this way. lets not forget that vlad still maintains he had nothing to do with the Rendell sacking. he's egotistical enough to have compromised himself throughout this. as jenny said, 2 men walk in and 1 walks out. maybe neither will walk out.

lol - you are one-eyed on this whole subject - it is obvious to all. You said the same thing when I discussed the OH&S aspects (player welfare etc) early on and look how that worked out - now a very major part of the charges against EFC.
Why are you on BF? You seem to attack anyone that doesn't follow your view, or says something you don't like about future events - 90% of posts on BF are about the future - perhaps you would be better suited to a forum environment that is only allowed to reflect on things of the past, and that have been already been proven beyond all doubt.

I am surprised that Vlad is even intending on sitting-in on the Commision meeting. I thought he would be spending the week in The Geish's office helping to ensure that the umpires for Essendon's elimination final were well suited to the task of umpiring such a high-profile match appropriately.
