so ur saying 65% of the population are chronic drug addicts?

also how many teenagers do you think can afford a $3000/week drug habit

terrible post.

guess your not a teenager then, cause you can get stuff off the streets for very cheap these days, looking at like 200-300 a week habit there.

No non-Eagles supporter has been less willing to criticize Cousins than I. I really hope he gets back on track and makes something of his life outside of football. He has so much still to offer with a full recovery and return to personal prosperity (after so much public humiliation) that could inspire young people and others facing tough times.

BUT for anyone to suggest his football career, however brilliant and full of achievement, won't be remembered firstly (and for most ONLY) for how it ended - just gives the public too much credit. His achievements are now forever tarnished (probably forgotten) in the minds of the majority, no matter what you and I might think about how fair that is.

player with great skills but the club is on the verge of imploding
given the list the return has been poor over last 5 years
hard to play as a team given the crap that was going on

as a person left a lot to be desired
and not many teenagers have the quality of gear that he has had

Mmm...I see your point about the whole "drug epidemic" thing, but as far as I know (and I'm a teenager) no one I know takes drugs. Or they hide it...

No doubt a Legend.

But i wouldn't pay too much attention to historical records...
It's almost Christmas time again:D

Jesus, sheltered existence. Honestly by the time I was 20 it was weird to meet someone that didn't take drugs.

You can't say it's "sheltered existence". I live in Rockingham for crying out loud...

The people I associate with just don't bother what that shit. Waste of time and money. Plus, you see how much it messes up someone's life (eg. Cousins) or causes someone to lose their life (eg. Mainy).

How ironic. Attacking someone for living a sheltered existence, but then stating every 20 year old takes drugs.

I think I know who it is that has lived in a sheltered state. ;)

hmmm i wouldnt go that far..

yes drug use is high, but addiction, which was bens case is not 65%. I would suggest maybe 5% or less have ever been to a rehab centre.

He has a serious problem and this should not be compared to the social drug taker.

good luck ben I hope you get over this shit and start the next chapter of your life.

He reminds me of a young Nelson Mandela...I can picture him, striding into a nightclub, saying, "Right, now for a long night of hardcore highlighting of hypocrisy".

No I said it was unusual to meet someone around my age at the time that didn't take drugs, I did not at any stage state that every 20 yr old takes drugs, but thanks for trying to put words in my mouth. Also I wasn't attacking him for leading a sheltered existence, good on him, he obviously hangs around upstanding citizens. Just saying that it wasn't my experience at that age at all.
