Sweeeeeeet.

Except that it's at least partly wrong :p The new deal with Reebok is league-wide - so all the teams, including the Oilers, will at least have the tapered collar and the NHL logo at the neck that you can see in the Caps and Kings images. The Oilers haven't made any firm announcements about what their design will look like, as far as I am aware.

Some of these new ones look brilliant, some look a little ordinary. That Canes one I don't like, the BJ's one looks super spiffy, and the Oil, massive Kudos to them for bringing out a 'hockey jersey'. That is a 'hockey jersey' in the truest sense. Same with the B's as well I guess.

Back to hockey jerseys we purchase, anyone whose visited the vic market recentley, I need a new Avs white jersey, I've finally admitted my current one is too small and I need a replacement, anyone remember seeing much Avs gear down there, particularly of the road white variety?

I went a couple of weeks ago and saw at least one. It had #19 but no Sakic on the back. I think that one was the only one I saw and was home dark.

I bought a Sakic name and numbered jersey month ago that looks like this:
homegrownsportinggoods_1949_12771452

It has the Avalanche logo on front and foot logo on shoulders. It's CCM badged. Although the collar on mine is different to the image shown. The collar on mine is same as the regular home shirt. I got a Medium and saw another one there couple weeks ago but nothing as of this wekend

No new CCM stock at the market last 2 weeks. Still the same old ones as before.

Oilers going vintage is awesome.

When will teams realize that simple is better, fancy is not. Look at the Bruins "new" one. Only wish the Sabres management had a brain and went back to the vintage.

I was reading yesterday that the new Rbk replica's will only have iro-on transfer logos and that the thought is that it will push people to pay more $$$ for the authentics with all the approproiate tackle/twill sewn on logo's etc.
Iron-ons aren't good IMO.
Wonder if we'll start to see these at the markets next year.
Has anyone checked out Carribean Gardens markets lately? any nhl stuff there?

When you say iron-on logos, do you mean numbers, names, team logos? If so, that is shameful. I hope fans seriously boycot buying the new jerseys.

Just a side note on the new RBK Jerseys, seems several players are not happy with them.
After trying the jerseys out in practices it was noted that the new material was great at not soaking up sweat, however all the sweat would run down the players arms into their gloves making them so wet and heavy that the players couldnt get there shots away as quickly before.

^^ Oh dear God. Hopefully that never sees the light of day in an actual game.

EDIT: Me thinks thats a practice jersey, I've seen other teams with that exact design except their own logo. Me hopes so anyway!

That's definitely a practice jersey. No thirds this year, and a lot of teams have yellow jerseys in practice.

With the third, they'll be introduced after a while. The theory is, people would be less likely to buy multiple jerseys with the new ones coming in... so you introduce home/away, people buy them, then three years down the line, you introduce a third, and of course, people buy them, too.

I am impressed with the new caps jerseys for next season, but lets hope that Blues jersey is for pracs only

About the Sharks new logo, from the Mercury news was this...
"It turns out this Internet rumor is true: The Sharks said Monday that the team is updating its primary logo for the first time since its unveiling in 1991. There also will be changes in secondary elements as well, but it'll be another two weeks before the official July 24 unveiling."

And also floating around the net is this new logo
although word is is that it's not the main logo, but the secondary one - possibly the shoulder patch logo or something?

Sorry for turning this into the Sharks new logo thread, but a leak has the following as the new main logo.

Like it better than the first in this thread, but hate the orange. Not sure why they need to follow anaheim's lead by adding little orange stripes to make the jersey look bad.
