Yeah Davey's really doing well, scoring lots and getting involved physically, his hit on one of the Central Coast players was phenomenal:eek: Also got in a fight tonight, although he kinda got owned, doesn't help when the other bloke is twice as big.:eek:

LOL, in the double header against Melbourne last weekend, Upton was wearing the 96 while Rob Vos is now 19. Zamuner is now #77, changed from #2. It's musical chairs for shirt numbers in Brisbane.:eek:

Yeah, the damn players never think of the supporters who buy specific player/number jerseys.
 
Yeah, I've not seen Davey play AIHL yet but I always remember him wearing #96 in juniors.

Bluetongues website still has him listed as #19. It's not a big deal to me, no shame in wearing a players original team number.

My sister got me an unnumbered New Jersey Devils jersey when in Canada and I was thinking of putting a name/number on it.
 
Here is my Away shirt.. made by "Starter" Its not the same as they are now.

Here is the home shirt which I just got, made by CCM.

Anytime there is a sharks game on I wear them, whether it be to uni or at home, and I try to wear the appropriate one, unless they screw me like against Calgary and wear the black :p

Anyone know places down here that attach numbers and names on the back of jerseys...that look similar to the real thing? I want to get two of the Pens' new style jerseys, one with Crosby and the other with Armstrong on the back, but getting a personalised one from nhl.com is nigh on impossible - US$220.

Grew up in Canada (Edmonton), played the game. Bought a few jerseys (the old cotton ones with the embroidered badges sewn on) from a trip back as an adult. Have acquired a couple more from wherever I see them, sometimes even in second hand clothes stores. Aiming for home and away of all the Original Six- less garish, traditional colours and designs. Need Red Wings and Rangers.

I always underestimated the value of Bobby Hull's autograph because he was playing for the Winnipeg Jets when he signed it. It wasn't common for a jersey to be signed in those days, and I didn't have my program with me when we lined up for autographs outside the visitors change rooms at the Colisseum (now demolished I think), and I remember thinking, 'Oh well, this'll do, nothing else he can sign'. Also, I thought then that it would be worth so much more if he played for the Oilers!

By the way...sorry, no deal!

there's a stall @ Vic Market that has received new lot of CCM jerseys. The NHL logo on the rear hem is still the black and orange puck rather than the new logo. Was there last week and they had Penguins home & road, Devils home & road, Leafs home, Team Canada both red & white, the previous Anaheim design both home & road. apart from the logo on the hem, the only obvious flaw in any of them was the Penguins jerseys. the gold part of the jersey was air-knit material rather than what I assume is supposed to be satin or something resembling satin on the official jerseys. Wasn't enough to deter me from picking up 2 of them. I also picked up a name & numbered Sakic #19 CCM Avalanche although the design isn't what they wear.... but actually better IMO. New stock will be arriving soon I think.

I used to have so many NHL jerseys but got rid of most. My prized one has to be Hartford Whalers that I picked up about 10 years ago.

River City Sports seems like a great place in import jerseys and other official gear but I think the shipping gets quite pricey. ANyone bought through them?
 
I bought a few jerseys from the vic market years and years ago. Stars, Sabres and Cats all away (well, now home, I spose). Might go have a look.

Obviously they won't have it, but I do want a Canucks vintage one. I love those jerseys. Sabres vintage would be sweet, too. Ordering online is a bitch, though, due to shipping.
 
The Nucks and Sabres are my favourite vintage ones. But like you said, no chance they'll stock them.

If I was going to get a non-Pens jersey, it'd be a Hawks red or white one. Man those are beautiful. Even the black ones are ok.

Get one with Ruutu #15 on the back perhaps Marns? :p Actually someone once said with my obsession with Tuomo borders on the unwell, and they're probably not too far wrong.
 
I've read some rumours that there will be some jersey changes next season...
...And for the Sharks, the word is that the logo will look similar but will have the ENTIRE shark body, instead of just the front half as it appears now. Also, the color scheme will include BURNT ORANGE along with the predominant teal, black and white.

And for those that don't know what Burnt Orange is, it's this colour: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: and almost the same as this colour :mad: :mad: :mad: .

There is also the comment that all of the teams jerseys are changing, (cos of the new Reebok uniforms deal), but unfortunately I can't find anything official yet.


As for Jerseys I own, I've got a Sharks replica one and a Coyotes one with the name "Blaze" on the back - anyone ever heard of him?
