If it only warrants ridicule why lose your 4 million job a year over it? People say ridiculous shit in workplaces all the time.I'm pretty sure I've got most of the Folau bingo:

Never been married but have been in open relations before so that may qualify, not gay but I wore rainbow colours in public a few times, and I think my adulation for Dale Morris gets me into the 'idolators' category too.
Looks like I'm headed to wherever the good music is played in the afterlife. Pretty sure heaven is just shitty hymns, and Creed.

The bolded people were real, the third one, not so much, but I hear he wandered about with twelve men and eventually got hung and nailed on a cross.
So did Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali & Jesus Christ. Your point..??
Hang on a minute, Hitlers beliefs were happily accepted in Germany at the time, Mandela was jailed and tortured for his, Ali was humiliated and banned from making a living and Christ was murdered - all within the laws applicable to their situations. And so do the KKK, jihadists and racists.
The point is that standing up for your beliefs is only to be congratulated if those beliefs don't make you a campaigner of a person. Standing up for your racist, sexist, homophobic etc views is a bad thing.

Dude she mostly kneeled or just flat out laid down for her beliefs. And Jenna Jameson
Nah you're right. Good on Folau for standing up for homophobia. What a guy.Hang on a minute, Hitlers beliefs were happily accepted in Germany at the time, Mandela was jailed and tortured for his, Ali was humiliated and banned from making a living and Christ was murdered - all within the laws applicable to their situations.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing so I wouldn’t be calling anyone a campaigner yet just because you don’t like what they like, otherwise you’re simply repeating the ignorance all over again.
Dude she mostly kneeled or just flat out laid down for her beliefs.
Seriously, if everyone just said "shut up, ****wit" and got on with their lives then it would have all gone away!
Homosexuals, drunks, atheists etc would have simply continued on being homosexuals, drunks, atheists etc
And so do the KKK, jihadists and racists.

LolTo anyone who actually cares, Folau’s post was scripture taken out of context. The writer of Galatians was speaking to believers within the church, in fact the apostle Paul clearly instructs Christians not to judge those outside of the church. If you want to call yourself a Christian, you cannot live life however you want, but if your not, then do what you like. Folau has only condemned himself and promoted a false doctrine. For those of you who have just worked out that I’m a believer, please keep the hate to yourself.

You're right. Someone who says gays are evil and will go to hell is definitely not a homophobe. How presumptuous of me. I apologize for apparently shutting down debate by unjustly smearing a man (or campaigner in this case) with the tag of homophobe for his repeated public comments that gays are evil and that accepting them caused the bushfires which killed people and destroyed lives.Assuming someone actually is those things - just as often 'homophobe, racist, sexist' are just labels used by the illiberal left to shut down debate and smear those they disagree with. That is equally a bad thing.
