Make sure you get facts rite first Paul before you post your usual dribble as I think you'll find that big bucks bingo is not Shane Field!!

If GW beat Swifts and Rup on the run home, will this see them into the 5?
Or will it only help to boost the old nemisis N/Q (who seem to have a good draw left) into finals action??

I think for GW to make the 5 Sockit they will need to win their 4 remaining games as your spot on the money with N/Q, best run home out of the 4 sides fighting for that last spot in the finals. The danger game for G/W will be in the 2nd last round against Kalkee. The advantage for N/Q as well as having a dream run home is their healthy percentage. :thumbsu:

I think satdys game will launch wasterns run into the 5,i think they will win there last 4 finish 5th and beat pimp in the elim final.
The main catalists for this will be field and panther up forward,if deliverys right to these 2 they could make it very hard for backlines, which i think kalkee might struggle.
My Opinion whick youll might find im right as always...

Ya nearlly did it beton. Ya just could hold ya tongue.
I would like to see Great Western win on Saturday. Something inspirational early on in the game that could get them up and and running ( Maybe a goal from shalders coming of the bench like the other week ). The Western have some really good playes out there that need to step up, the Hurley boys can only do so much. Panther in full flight would be good.

The scenarios is as follows:
5.stawell swifts 36 97% Western(A),harrow(H),NQ(A),Pimp(H)
6.rupunyup 32 92% Pimp(A),Kees(H),BYE,Westen(A)
7.noradjua 28 137%Pimp(H),Swifts(H),Apsley(A),Nati(A)
8.Western 28 95%swifts(H),Nati(A),Kees(A),RUPANYUP(H).
Huge battle for 5th spot for the finals.
Westen need swifts to beat Noradjua Rn16.
Swifts to win 1 of there last4.
Rup to lose to pimp and kalkee and western in the last round
Western to win 3 out of 4 if swifts can beat horadjua.
Anyone else have any thoughts of the final month of the home and away.

Yeah funny those thoughts, aren't they exactly what I told you!! Anywayz I think for GW to make it they will need to win all of their remaining games as with the injuries that Swifts have I cant see them beating NQ!

Great western are no good! Just like you Beton! Go back to warming the pine and sitting along side your mate David Law!

Now if it is true and this is in fact you Corbo, that is a very cheap shot buddy!! Coming from someone who plays for Moyston mate, now come on dont throw too many stones, you's aint exactly setting the world on fire out there this year!! Or as you put it with the kid McDougall at Tatty, the only reason Moyston have won a few and are a chance of making the 5 this season is because maybe the MDFL has slipped down to your level, yes thats right Moyston's pathetic level, hence y you's have actually won some games!!

Now Nick dont take any of this to heart buddy but you just worry about getting a kick yourself and also mate colour that f@#ken front tooth in, its blacker than the ace of spades!! :D

What are you all going to talk about now that Western is shot!

Very dissapointing loss to the western 3 games left and pretty much no hope left to finish 5th after noradjua beat pimp.

Im sure the western will come out firing this week.

MightyRoar, can u tell me what the f@$& went wrong with the Western this year??? Work with a couple of guys who play out there and they carnt work out what has happened. They were pretty confident at the start of the year that they would play finals!!!

Just not good enough going by the results. Missed Brendan Mannix at Full back this year though. Could of been the difference in my opionon!!

Yeah mate another disappointing season for the Lions where things looked so promising at the start of the season!

I wont elaborate too much just yet on where I think things went wrong for us until seasons end as there is still 3 games remaining, however I'd imagine that there would be quite a few wondering what has gone wrong yet again for the Lions. The loss of several key position players this season has obviously had a fair baring on the chances of the Lions this year!!

Other than probably 2 games this season where the Lions have been comprehensively beaten, albeit on the weekend against the Swifts and previously against Laharum, they have been competitive in all of their losses, however haven't been able to put together 4 quarters in each of these games. This in turn has resulted in them loosing these games, because good sides will always make you pay for bad peformances and a lack in concentration, as has been a big factor throughout the season!!

Are we talking Seniors or Reserves here!! Manno was a big loss in not only the Magoos but for the club as well as he was very much a clubman. Manno was very rarely beaten at Full back in the Scoobies last season and would have no doubt been a solid contributer this year for the lions had he have not moved onto greener pastures!! If your out there and reading this Brendan how has your form down back been this season!! :thumbsu:

So three rounds left, Harrow looks to have a mortgage on top spot.
Kalkee and Laharum meet this weekend in a battle between second and third, while Noradjuha-Quantong play Stawell Swifts to effectively decide who will make the finals.
Whats your thoughts on this fascinating round.

Yes it is in deed a very interesting round coming up with what could possibly see the top 5 be set come the conclusion of this weeks matches!!

However IMO I think that N/Q will be too strong for Swifts and with 2 easier games remaining in the last 2 rounds for them(no offence to E/A & Natimuk but N/Q shoild win these 2 games convincingly based on the results this season), they should continue on their winning way and claim that valued last spot in the finals. This is also based on the fact that Swifts play 2 of the top 5 sides in their final 2 rounds!!

I will give credit where credits due and the Swifts did put in a comendable performance against the Lions on the weekend without their spearhead and managed to kick an impressive score of 22 goals with 9 of these coming from talented youngster McDonald. However I will stick to what I have said in the past with that being, "No Anyon No Swifts"!! IMO I think this will prevail in their remaining 3 matches as he is their most important player and with the match against G/W aside they will struggle without him!!

Look out here we go again, obviously the doctor and dentist have been out at the Prison Paul, hence why you have been ralitively quite on BigFooty the last couple of days!! As for me going to coach Natte next year in the LPFL, well all I can say is you are fast becoming a Lyeon C@#T , because you sure aint a Lion Tamer!! :p

You still havent learnt not to bite back at him yet Mighty. How will you go this week mate?

Well things are certainly quiet on the Horsham District thread aren't they, amazing how things quieten down when Beton5, Babba80 whoever else he is doesn't post any of his usual dribble!!

With only 2 rounds remaining the top 5 I would imagine will be set after this weekends round of matches! Harrow have stamped their authority as the team to beat, whilst Kalkee have secured 2nd spot and look to be the side to challenge the ladder leaders for the flag with a win over 3rd placed Laharum on the weekend just gone! A win this week to Laharum will see them get the double chance while the 2 time premiers in Pimp will finish in 4th spot! As expected it has rung true with Stawell Swifts, in the fact that "No Anyon No Swifts," as N/Q thumped them on the weekend and with games against E/A and Natimuk remaining and the Swifties stairing down the barrell of another 2 floggings without Tub N/Q will claim that valued last spot in the finals!! Natimuk continued their improvement on the weekend with another tight contest against the Lions going down by under 10 points again this season! I must make mention too with Natimuks new facilities, its a credit to the club and with the best set up in the league now(Havent as yet seen E/A, as I have heard that they too have a good set up) hopefully next season they can recruit well and become more competitive! E/A were well well beaten by the powerhouse in Harrow and what has happened to Rup. The wheels have definately fallen off with another thrashing on the weekend, this time at the hands of Pimp! As for Taylors No Lake, well they got the 4 points on the weekend, I know it was the bye, however 4 points is 4 points!!

The only other thing that showed on the Weekend was that even the Reserves Game has become to quick for the great man himself!! :D

Mate I've been on holidays up North and as such haven't played for a couple of weeks. I can tell you though, that the form of the fillies at the Coffs Harbour races is exceptional. On the footy front, looks like we will sneak into the finals in 6th spot.
