Sports How did you first get interested in Footy?

For me it was as an adult; I was born in Melbourne but grew up in Southeast England and London. I went to a private boys’ school and played Rugger. Interest in Footy was about rediscovering my Australian roots.
But how did you chaps get into it? Was it through school, or being inspired by a particular player, or simply by following your local team?

Dad was/is a massive Roos fan and passed it down to me. I was obsessed with Boomer Harvey as a kid. When I was a teenager I found out about BigFooty and have been a nuffy ever since lol

Moved from Tassie to Melbourne in 2018 for work and have only missed a handful of Roos games in Melbourne since.
