How good is Matthew Kreuzer?

That's the great thing about Kreuzer, he's already better than Rioli and has much more upside.

Go start a poll and see what happens. You're in for a rude shock.

I don't think I've ever seen a 19yo ruck do what Kreuzer has done this year.

I don't think I've ever seen a teenager stand up and take CHB like Jared Rivers either.

Next to Selwood he is the best player to come through the draft in the last few years.

Take pity on my poor sides.

I doubt polling BF teens about a No.1 pick of Carlton's is going to provide a shock result. It's easy enough to see when you watch the matches anyway. Rioli is well and truly munching Kreuzer dust. Kreuzer is just an out and out freak.

Yes, that's your internal monologue. I was actually wondering if you were willing to test your delusions.

Played a great a great game tonight. His marking is starting to look dangerous. :)

What number is he again?

Baaahahaha... Rainman talking about internal monologues... or should that be dialogues in your case.
A BF poll is not a test of anything. If I want to seek out bullshit opinions I will just read your posts.

Fingers in ears again?

Come now, Monkey King. Let's get serious. You cannot believe that Kreuzer's first 30 games stack up against Rioli's can you?

Granted, Kreuzer is a taller player, but that doesn't means he's performed better. And I have to question the value you put on his early form. We both know of key position types who have taken quickly to the game, as well as smaller types who have been slow starters.

On upside, I believe Rioli has more, with work still to be done on his conditioning and endurance, whereas Kreuzer is already an elite runner for a big man.

whos only 20 and will get alot better

Regardless, fitness isn't a problem for Kreuzer and he doesn't have as much improvement left in that area as a Rioli does.

Rioli has been the better player so far, it's not even up for debate, even if some Carlton supporters genuinely think it is.

Yep... and eyes wide open.

I agree Rioli has to imporve his fitness quite markedly, whereas Kreuzer is already elite in this regard. That is not to say that further pre-sasons won't improve on that even further though.

For Kreuer and the position he plays, further development will obviously occur in regards to size and strength. He's still learning the ruck caper against big men, which will only get beter in the coming years as well.

Better now and more upside.

Kreuzer has less fitness improvement left. Less upside in that regard.

Now you're talking some sense. I agree that Kreuzer has upside with regard to his size and learning the caper. Similarly, Rioli has to learn how to read the play a little better, and improve his physique.

Kreuzer squeezes zits with more muscle mass than Cyril!

Who would you say has had the better first 30 games? Monkey King says he thinks it's Kreuzer.
Considering he was surrounded by a team that won a flag.....
Considering Kreuz has more pressure and spotlight on him due to the expectations of being number 1 and at CFc..............
Probably Cyril who jumped out of the blocks.
Who will have a better career?
Probably Kreuz.
Nobody wins a marathon in the first 100m!

Beaten by a forward/ruckman in Mitch Clark last night.

Clark, Ryder and others are showing this year that it isn't that difficult to play as a mobile ruckman, even with only 10 ruck games under your belt.
