As a fan of Freo yes it was good times for the club and seeing us winning a lot of games, very disappointing to fall short of a flag tho.

At least you admitted you're dissapointed you fell short, because when a club is proud of not winning the ultimate it's a sign of mediocrity, believe me we have a fair share, I cringe everytime I hear how 'great' we were in 2008, when in fact that season was an unmitigated disaster for us.

IMO you had the best team I've pretty much ever seen from 07-12 yet Hawthorn won more flags over 10 years. Football is a cruel sport, if you are happy with mediocrity you are failing in life.
