Hugh is a leading marking forward that can impact on the midfield. He has great goal sense and is very good when the ball hits the ground due to his lightning reactions. Yes he can labour when the action moves too far away from him, but that's why he should stay in the forward line and only pinch hit in midfield.

Players like Hugh make forward entries count because hes a great 1 on 1 player that marks or makes things happen. With more players like that in our forward line, our forward line could probably focus more on scoring rather than defending.

You can definitely play CEY and Greenwood in the same side, it's only the coaches short sightedness that's stopping this.

We could actually make greenwood into a full forward due to his contested marking, goalkicking ability and that he would be quite mobile

Greenwood, just for that forward versatility. Cam is probably the better mid currently but Matt Crouch exists who fills a lot of that need.

Nope. Was selected in our SANFL squad. Edit: pulled out so may just be exhaustion. Darwin would have messed up a few players.

That said hopefully this is just us trialing a CEY/M.Crouch combo and not indicating we've decided which one to keep.

Because keeping CEY over Greenwood is the wrong decision, and unfortunately CEY has been too good to keep as depth.

I like that idea. I'd be inclined to play forward instead of Douglas. Send him into the middle for short bursts
