Would he be the son of the great Jeff ""Pig"" Land? Brock legend. If he is he would be the son of a gun:D:D

yes is the prodigy of the great geoff land who has become a legend in the hume fl. though i have heard his younger brother (c) of the bb saints 2's is the "promissed land". i think a fair few ppl have written off the saints a bit early this year with the return of jack northam, nathan dick, micheal klein-boonschate and mitch elliot all being excellent young pick ups along with several good recruits with Glanville, Guest, and Gardiner will add a bit of height. also the return of tommy kite, and josh land tipped to kick 100 goals (on and off the feild) should see the saints come close in coming years.

Please accord the person you call "Pig" the respect he deserves.

As one of his opponents (back in 1832), I can assure you that we never referred to him in any other way than as Geoffrey Raymond Land.

Top 5 in no particular order, Osborne, Culcairn, Jindera, Lochart and Holbrook...Howlong close.....those six streaks ahead of rest of the league.
Landy (josh) stop talking yourself up by posting rumours/predictions about urself.
Any injuries at this stage for anyone? one week from round opening, and any news of late signings, osborne confident of picking a couple of late ones up, but no names to hear as yet

Interesting to note that people still think Jindera are a top3 chance even with the advertised losses.. Strange especially considering the paper experts picked them to finish 6th...

Will be a good chance for Hume League followers to see 2 of the predicted top 6 sides go at it on Friday night at Albury Sports Ground with Holbrook and Jindera due to lock horns at 7.30pm. Been a lot of talk of both Jindera and Holbrook being unknown qualities for 09 and it will be a rare chance to see Hume League sides play under lights. With no other games on hopefully a few get along for a look. I know the Holbrook boys are very keen and looking forward to the challenge of coming up against the reigning premier.
