yeah i got 1 the tigers struggled big time against the coly all credit to coly but the tigers were sadly undermanned and underdone watching from outside they have a lot to work to do and not sure if the whole group is commited to the cause, gilso and rat are working there arses off to get a competitve side on the park and need plenty of support from some of the locals who havnt bothered to front yet there is a long road ahead for the tigers and i think gilly is the man for the job dont rite them off just yet. also heard jason wild is very close with one of the players out there and is a chance to line up this year any other fellas ?Anyone got scores from the weekend??

Saw him play against the Brookers on the weekend, great player obviously but isn't looking as good as the reputation suggests.. Bearing in mind we're only two rounds in, class player and when he finds his feet in the new club will be a huge advantage for the dogs..Any word on how Mark Hilton is going? Is he as good as everyone said he is? As good as Myles the last 2 years?
T Ball looks alot fitter than iv'e seen him previously.

How would he compare to Myles??
I think it would be hard to compare Hilton to Myles. Myles was a true full forward capable of kicking 100 goals a season. Hilton is a true Centre Half Back 'trying' to play full forward. He will still kick a few goals as he is quality and a strong player but he will only kick goals because of his general ability rather than his forward line ability.
Just because you are a great CHB in the O and M it doesn't mean you can just be a great Full Forward in the Hume League. Any thoughts?
Fair call that.. And if he is as good CHB as you say why are jindera playing up forward
I am not too sure if this is right but i have heard it was a part of him signing on at Jindera - he wanted to play forward and coach was happy to play him there. I suppose you'd say anything to sign a good player but so far the coach sounds like he is living up to his word!! I can assure you he is a great centre half back....he may make a great forward in the future??? I suppose he was sick of a chasing blokes around.
Few big question marks over Murray as a coach very early. From all reports did little homework on Holbrook on weekend and showed no respect.Only knew the usual suspects-not the depth that got the Brookers over the line. With the set up of the finals structure wise-that loss may come back and bite them big time.
He doesn't do it on his pat though does he? Who are his bench?
I would think that the homework is done during the week - bench is run game day under general instructions from coach??
Looks like Hume league has become the AFL and the buck stops with the coach!!! Lets not get ahead of ourselves, good coaching helps but players play and kick goals not coaches.....actually unless your a playing coach???
Interesting question, what are the playing coaches to non-playing coaches and thoughts on each in the league?
Without knowing it seems playing coaches are popular but do they work? Boyle (non-playing) V Murray (playing) - I know it's too early to answer that specific question but it's an interesting topic???
Lockhart has both with Mick Glanville(non playing) and poke mcpherson(playing).. any thoughts on this idea??
Best of both worlds I suppose. Question is can the playing coach play?? And can the non-playing coach coach?? If they can both do what they are supposed to go, for it I suppose.
Who takes training? Playing coach wouldn't be too happy if he got flogged on the track whilst non-playing blew a whistle!!
To be honest I am a bit old school and there should be a coach, an AC and maybe 1 or 2 on the bench. Agian interesting question considering clubs seem to like playing coaches - is it a value for money thing?
After Holbrook win over the Dogs can we say they are a top 3 team and have a fair chane for the flag????

Culcairn by 15 goals, they're looking formidable, Robertson looks at home down forward and young Clint Brown's looking deadly off half back, incredibly well drilled all over the paddock, Cul by 15 goals.
