Speaking of the lions is it true that they couldn't get anymore than 20 to training on a tuesday and now they only train once a week on a wednesday? Maybe the fire is not there for a few of the boys or maybe there are a few COMMUNICATION issues with the coach. Don't get me wrong he's a good bloke, handy footballer but players shouldn't have to go to support people to find out what he is thinking or what their roles in the team are.

I'm not sure if it is in place yet, but the talk certainly is that the footballers all only want to train 1 night a week - apparantly it is subject to the netballers agrement as they want them to change also.

Hey does anyone know about the rumors henty are chasing a few thurgoona and wodonga boys, trying to get them before clearances time out.

Heard a rumour doing the traps that Bahr maybe heading back to Osborne with ex-Henty coach Mark Sanson as well.

I'd be very surprised Bid Al, unless Kerry is trying fill the 490th page of his scrap book by changing clubs AGAIN to get his name in the paper. At 48 I would think you would be mature enough to make your decision and stick to it wouldn't you? With Mark being the coaches brother the same rule applies - you would stick to you decision surely??

Headline for Kerry's last effort in the border mail - Bahr to Finish Career In Osborne Two's.

Sorry, thats a bit harsh as been good players. But for their next move the word 'RETIREMENT' comes to mind - for both of them.

Who would want to leave 2 good clubs heading for finals to play for a club who have lost 32 players and are struggling big time - I can only think of one reason and I may suggest they (the players)and Henty don't do it!

They offered a player we rated as worth $80-$100 a cash amount of $250.

How stupid is that!! It will ruin their club and will help ruin country footy. They have had a change of coach and lost a heap of players - tough it out and do the best they can this year and start rebuilding towards next year (yes already) and don''t ruin other clubs through stupid stuff like that whilst you do it. Poor form.

I suppose when you get 38 players at training on the first wednesday night .Not a bad effort. Still the jury's out on how there fitness will be come September
Why don't the players approach the coach to see what there role is. Come on this is grown mens footy, not under 10's

Culcairn beat lockhart by 5 points.. were winning by 5 or 6 goals at three quarter time but ran out of legs but still good enough in the end

Coly too good for Rennie up at Coly yesterday. Rennie were again winning over half the match to fall away badly 2nd week running. I think they've forgotten how to win. It wasn't fitness as a lot of Coly blokes haven't been gracing the training track. Probably a step back for the Hoppers after their good performance the week before.

Never easy to get a win up at Coly, who were fired up to get Damien "Legend" Mannes over the line for his 300th. Congrats "Legend" - in his day probably the quickest footballer in these parts, and still good to watch running out of the backline with those silky skills and long kicks. A very clean, fair player, and good clubman. A great Coreen League man.

Folks, I see that Henty comfortably beat Magpies yesterday. Are Henty better than everyone thought they'd be, or are the Magpies sh!thouse? I ask this with a vested interest as Rennie have Magpies at home next week and are desperately keen to get on the wiiners list.

i think henty are bad.. magpies are just worse.. undiciplined unfit and low level skills.. they will be doing well to win a game

Some of you are pretty hard to please. Klemkes record at Culcairn would now be about 24 wins / 1 loss. Not too bad . As for training once a week, I guess it all comes back to how motivated the list is to doing some extra on their own. Time will tell.

Haven't the Magpies already won one? they beat the Saints in round 1.

Also, can anyone tell me why the Power went off yesterday?
Were they off their game or were the Crows simply too good on this occasion?

And congratulations also to Damian Mannes on his 300th match - Doobie, I second your comments.

Thats great - 300 games is a huge milestone. But any chance of a score and what happened on the weekend result wise???

They're actually training twice a week, tuesday and wednesday, there was a complication with the lights at the oval on a thursday night so they moved in back to wednesday.. Can't see anyone beating them this year.

Well The Crows of what i heard were too good for the power they played great footy and deserved to win.........That new Recruit that the power got from St Marys was rubbish........thet talked him up and he under performed...........I told everyone to watch out for the crows......They will be Dangerous this year dont you worry:thumbsu:
